章節 19: Second Gift

Exiting the cave a bright light enveloped my eyes as I got used to the bright midday sun once again Master Fei stopped just outside of the cave with his hand outstretched, "Take my hand, I'm sure you have many questions and there will be a time for you to ask but for now I wish to give you your second gift." I nodded as I did in fact have a ton of questions taking up space in my mind, I reached for his hand. As soon as we touched I felt my feet lift off the ground, my eyes shot to the ground that was slowly getting further and further away, then my eyes rested on Master Fei, he had a serene look on his face as we ascended.

I kept running through questions in my mind, "Is he truly what he says? A god? But why and how? I'm not a Dhaphir anymore but my hunger and urges still remain so what does it mean to be a Demonic Dragon?. All these questions filling my head as Master Fei chuckled and as if reading my mind, "Haha.. worry not although I am unsure what a Demonic Dragon is I'm sure we can find out together and yes I am really a god, however we are not all knowing nor Omniscient."

My mouth opens as if I'm about to speak However he speaks first, "Yes there are more gods, while I rose to the rank of god through cultivation, there are millions upon millions within the vastness of the 10 galaxies, however the 10 gods that formed this world did so through magic a concept foreign to me entirely."

I spend the rest of the journey upward in contemplation, Master Fei spoke no more.

Around the two of us was I beautiful sight it was as if I could almost see the entire Expanse of the continent, the various mountains and rivers that snaked their way through the land, the towns and cities nearby. I could see the Academy town with my enhanced sight it was beautiful as I was being starstruck by the beautiful land around me Master spoke, "Okay we are here."

Master lowered his feet on a violet colored cloud. "Standing on a cloud thats..." master spoke again as I was inwardly thinking again, "Crazy right?" He chucked seeing my displeasure of him finishing my sentences again. As my feet were guided to the cloud, "Can you stop reading my mind please.. it's getting rather irritating." Master then laughed, "Hahaha... sure sure I apologize."

"Where are we? I asked feeling the fluffy cloud.

"This is just a cloud.. nothing more nothing less." He said with a straight face

"Uh huh.." I gave him a questioning gaze however her ignored it and waved his hand as he did I felt my body being pulled towards him at an extremely speed and with a deadly suction my consciousness was on the verge of fading, suddenly I felt myself falling for a moment only to land hard on the ground.

As I got up I looked around me to see a Frozen wasteland in this wasteland there were massive stone swords that pierced the ground, even I felt a chill standing in this space.

"Over here Disciple." My masters voice echoed in this endless frozen wasteland, I turned 180 degrees to see Master Fei standing next to a beautiful sword thrust into the ice.

Master spoke, "This is a recreation of my current home, this world was ravaged by a distraught friend of mine.. though I've created this space with one purpose and that singular purpose is to gift my first Disciple her second gift." As he motions to the sword hilt thrust into the icy ground.

"This is a sentient treasure with an infantile soul within take it Lithia.

I approached the blade but before taking it I turned to Master, "Master... why are you helping me so much.. we just met, giving me your blood.. reforging my very existence... Master I am not a good person.. I will kill many people.. gallons of blood is already drenching my hands, surely you aren't giving me so much for nothing.. surely this isn't just because my ancestor saved you."

Master was silent for a long time nodding occasionally I just patiently waited until he spoke, "Outside.. in the vastness of space a war is brewing again.. this war ravaged worlds.. the side of Humanity and beasts against the Demons.. after 10,000 years the demons are beginning to rise again, your ancestor Lilith is an outsider god, while still being a demon she and her kin.. you.. are outsiders. Outsiders are beings not originally born from the Essence of the Heavens and the Earth yet some can Utilize these energies none the less.."

Master was silent for another few minutes then continued, "Yes I acknowledge your bloodlust and I don't consider myself completely righteous but I would be lying if I said I didn't mind your actions past, present and future. Regardless of why you seek power I do not regret accepting you as my first disciple. I also hope that in the future you join me against my foes, in conclusion I will not stand in your way no matter your future decisions we have already vowed to the heavens to be Student teacher now and friends later." He smiles.

I nod, "I still have many questions though I am not a god like you so for now I'll hold from asking since I am unable to even effect godly things.." I say as Master nods

"That is for the best my Disciple I have already told to too much and to say any more could harm your prospects in the future, take the sword accept it as my second gift."

I nod and lay my hand on the hilt as soon as I do I felt a rumble through my core.

Master spoke, "Cut your hand and infused your blood with your mana and your Qi and drop it on the blade."

I did exactly that I closed my eyes as my consciousness found it's way to my hand as I pushed my Qi Dragons through my blood as I also pushed my mana through it as well I felt no resistance as I tried to merge these energies together, then I opened my eyes as I cut my palm and dropped a few drops onto the hilt, the hilt shudderd as I withdrew the hilt from the ice. There was no blade however the handle was made from a deep blue metal and the guard was cross shaped with a violet crystal on the center of the guard, the pommel was diamond shaped.

"Think of a name to give it, however we should head back for now you still have an academy to attend.. miss Heir to the throne." he said with a cheeky smile.

As he then waved his hand my vision went blurry, "Ahhh I... have.. no interest in being given that throne... Warn me next time!" I scowled as my stomach churned. Returning back to the grassy stones outside the cave.

"Go to Esryn's class every two weeks I will bring you here to learn my knowledge apart from that enjoy your school life little princess." Before I could say anything he cut a swath through the space next to me and waved his hand as an unknown force pulled me into this cut. For the millionth time my vision fadded.. as it came back I found myself in my door room.

"Fuckin... what... what about the third gift!?" I screamed as I was alone in the dorm room.
