Confused by the blue scales, Dean approached the corpse and gently pressed his fingertips against it, and it felt rough.

"The hell?" Dean was confused as a thought crossed his mind.

He seemed to hesitate before grabbing whatever was left of the lady's clothes and ripping it off. Silver and everyone in the command center watched through the eyes of the spy bot, and they all frowned at what they saw.

Similar blue scales could be seen littered all over her body. These rough spots seemed to irritate the rest of the skin and also had a different temperature from the rest of the body. 

It was enough to make someone so uncomfortable they would mutilate themselves just to get those rough blue scales off.

Based on the countless self-inflicted injuries on the body of the victim, it seems she suffered greatly before death. That explains why she didn't even bother trying when faced with Dean's attack.
