"Damn, what's wrong with him?", Monique asked, moving out the way of the oncoming Edmund. 

Milo who was trailing behind slightly swung his arms out in confusion, "Sulking because I was trying to see what I could get out of the demon queen". 

Moniques eyes lit up, "Oh you mean make a deal with her. Judging from his reaction, I'm assuming you were willing to offer yourself to her in return for ending the war". 

Milo sighed and nodded, "Pretty much. As much as I've trained, if the war can be avoided by simply me walking to their side then so be it. I don't have any intention of being here for long anyway".
