In the grand penthouse of dorm 1, eight students who's manner are those of an arrogant delinquents gathered there as they sat in a luxurious C shaped sofa while arrogantly laughing even at the smallest things.

The seven students occasionally stole glances at the student who invited them but the person in question sat there with his eyes close as he remained indifferent from the noise.

"Hey Edge, isn't there a dagger user in your class?"

A good-looking guy with a warm smile sacrificed himself to broke the awkward atmosphere.

Edge opened his eyes slowly as he stared back at him.

"I- uhm just asking if the gossips I heard were true. Did I hear it wrong?"

"...I'm not interested in trash."

"R-right. Hahaha. I'm just curious."

He awkwardly laughed to hide his embarrassment.

Edge didn't talk anymore as he closed his eyes.

"Rex... You're a curious one, aren't you? You question about the smallest things~"

An alluring voice sounded in the atmosphere. Rex Harrison immediately snapped his head towards the voice as he saw a long-haired girl smiling attractively. Turns out, it was Whitney Owen. His heart immediately started beating fast. Flustered, Rex suddenly cried out.

"Heh. Whitney. Don't you know that I am always like this?"

"What was her name again? Emilia? Emily? It was a pretty old-fashioned name. Don't pay too much attention to her."

"But she sure is annoying. Why did that stupid b!tch come all the way to Glacial Sphere if she was only going to choose a dagger?"

Luella Larsen had a nasty habit of speaking vulgar words. She had shaved side pixie cut hair, had an intimidating expression, and a medium physique. Even with just one glance, it was easy to see that she specializes in close ranged combat.

Rex asked Kim Luella, "Do you know her?"

"I'm also in Edge's class, dumb@ass. I can't wait to be the one to destroy her pretty face in our next combat training. She doesn't belong here."

Glacial Sphere's schedule can be seen at their smart watch. There are two types of classes. One is 'Inner Training' where they train their own physical strength and mana building. The other one is 'Combat Training' refers to dungeon raids, monster hunting, battles and completing missions.

One week has eight days meaning they would attend Inner Training Class for five days and three days for Combat Training Class.

"I'll disfigure her pr-"

"She's not worth it."

Edge suddenly talked making the atmosphere silent as Luella suddenly shut up.

It's better for you to challenge high rankers than low ranks. You can also gain points for that. For examp-"

"Just like Angela. She's a strong student, try fighting her. I'm sure you'll win."

Whitney interrupted him while smiling. Edge narrowed his eyes and glared at her, but Whitney didn't care.

"Easy. No other choices?" Luella answered with confident.

"How about you, Rex? Can you handle her?"

Whitney turned to look at Rex.

"... Huh? O-of course I can defeat her. But..."

Challenging her was difficult especially if Edge has a crush on her.

"But?"

He can't say it because he will be the one who'll end up dead if touch Angela. He can't do anything and only swallowed his words. He wanted to look good in front of Whitney so he thought of another answer.

"... It would be too disgraceful. You know, I'm a guy and she's a girl. It would look unfair to others and also my opponents end up half-dead."

"There's nothing wrong with that." Whitney said while smirking.

"Pardon?"

"Whitney Owen, quit it already."

Edge finally stopped their conversation.

Annoyed, she pretended not to care. She forcibly concealed the discomfort rising from the corner of her heart.

'Of course I know that Edge liked Angela. This is not jealousy. Definitely not. I just found the situation funny.' Whitney comforted herself.

"Anyways, I'm leaving now guys. It's almost midnight."

Students are only allowed to interact until midnight. She had a bright smile on her face to hide her sadness as she said farewell to the other cadets. Whitney stood up and headed for the door.

"Oh, good night."

"Good night, Whitney!"

"Dream of me!"

"See you later!"

All the male cadets other than Edge saw her off to the door.
