章節 52: Meeting the Yuki Clan

The old man sat in a grand, dimly lit room, the walls adorned with symbols and ancient artifacts that seemed to shift with the shadows. He sipped his tea leisurely, the steam curling upward like wisps of forgotten thoughts. His eyes, bright yet oddly detached, flicked toward the world he observed, watching a figure move through the chaos.

Akio.

The man had proven quite the subject for the R.o.B.'s little experiment. Over a hundred lives had fallen at Akio's hands, each death marking a step toward his goal of lifting his clan to power. The R.o.B. leaned forward, the smile on his face hidden behind a veil of wrinkles. 'Ah, how delightful. His ambition is… satisfying. I must admit, I didn't expect him to be this efficient.'

As Akio stood victorious, his enemies' blood staining the ground beneath him, the R.o.B. chuckled softly to himself. His fingers twitched as a new idea crossed his mind. The experiment was going better than expected, and it was time to reward the subject with more power. With a snap of his fingers, a wheel manifests in front of the rob with the names, Escanor, Natsu Dragneel, Roy Mustang, Alibaba Saliju, Hiei, Portgas D. Ace, Muhammad Avdol, Scorpion, Ghost Rider,Rin Okumura and other flame characters

A second after it appeared, the wheel began to spin, the blur of motion creating countless afterimages. It spun relentlessly until it finally slowed, the pointer landing on Gabimaru the Hollow.

"Hmm, the most perfect character on this wheel to send into the Naruto world. What an interesting pick," the R.O.B. mused, a faint smirk curling his lips as he stroked the goatee on his chin. "I'll send you along with Yoriichi—since he fits well with the era."

No sooner had the words left his mouth than the wheel spun again. This time, it turned for twelve seconds before coming to rest on Portgas D. Ace.

"Hmmm, another intriguing choice," he muttered, though a flicker of disappointment lingered in his voice. "I was really hoping for Escanor… The chaos he'd cause in that world would have been magnificent. But I suppose even someone like me can't escape the whims of this accursed gacha."

Still, the smirk returned. "Very well. I'll send Ace to the Naruto timeline."

The R.O.B. paused, already contemplating the ripple effects. "Hmm… Yes, this will do. Two fire-wielding warriors. Let's see how the world handles these gifts."

But then, as if remembering something, he turned his gaze toward the readers, his sharp eyes piercing the very fabric of reality.

"You know, for those of you who hate me and called me obnoxious… well, suck it." The old man smirked, his voice cutting through the fourth wall with ease. "Go ahead, throw your complaints at me all you want. I'm not the one who made this story happen—blame the author for all this mess, not me. I'm just here enjoying my tea."

The R.o.B. took another slow sip, savoring the warmth as the world continued to unfold before him. "I'm just doing what I do best—watching the chaos unfold. You think I care about your opinions? Ha!"

He leaned back in his chair, hands resting on the armrests, eyes glinting with amusement.

"Now, let's see how Akio handles these new toys. Maybe he'll surprise me."

....

Yamamoto and Akiko made their way through the misty outskirts of the Yuki clan's territory. The cold, biting air seemed to seep into their bones. The Land of Water was in chaos, with its clans embroiled in civil war, and now the Kaguya clan's relentless advance added to the turmoil.

(A/N: to be honest the land of waters history is kind of foggy to me and so I had to do some research and watch some episodes again, still couldn't find the exact data of the civil war so I just assumed it happened during the warring state period)

"The Yuki aren't going to like us showing up unannounced," Akiko said, glancing at Yamamoto. "But they'll have to listen. Especially to you."

Yamamoto didn't respond immediately, his sharp gaze fixed on the icy landscape ahead. "They've heard of me," he said at last. "But respect won't get us far unless we can make them see the bigger picture."

As they approached the Yuki clan's gates, guards stepped out of the mist, their spears raised. Their armor gleamed like ice, and their expressions were hard.

"Halt! State your business," the lead guard commanded.

"I am Yamamoto of the Hima clan," Yamamoto said calmly, his voice carrying authority. "This is Akiko. We've come to speak with your leader about the Kaguya clan."

The guards exchanged glances. One of them whispered to the leader, who nodded and stepped forward. "Yamamoto? The Yuki clan has heard of you. You're known for your strength and skill. But these are dangerous times. Why should we allow you into our village?"

"The Kaguya are advancing south with a force large enough to threaten everyone in their path," Yamamoto replied. "Your clan may be next. We've come to warn you and propose a solution."

The leader hesitated, then motioned for his men to lower their weapons. "Wait here. I'll inform the council."

After a tense wait, the guard returned. "You may enter, but tread carefully. Our leader respects strength, but he has little patience for outsiders."

Yamamoto nodded, and he and Akiko followed the guards through the village. The Yuki territory was striking—buildings carved from ice shimmered in the pale light, and warriors patrolled every corner, their movements tense and watchful.

The guards led them to a grand hall where the Yuki clan leader awaited. He sat on a raised platform surrounded by his council, his presence commanding. His piercing blue eyes studied Yamamoto with a mix of curiosity and respect.

"So," the leader said, his deep voice cutting through the silence. "The Hima clan's Yamamoto stands before me. I've heard of your strength and your skills. Tell me—why have you come to my land?"

Yamamoto stepped forward, bowing slightly. "Yuki-dono, I've come to warn you about the Kaguya clan. They've been spotted advancing south with a force large enough to destroy everything in their path. Your clan is in danger."

The leader's gaze didn't waver. "The Kaguya have always been a threat, but the Yuki clan has survived worse. Why should we involve ourselves in your fight?"

"This isn't just our fight," Yamamoto replied firmly. "The Kaguya won't stop with the Hima clan. They'll come for you, too. And if your forces are dwindled by this civil war, you won't stand a chance."

One of the council members frowned. "You say the Kaguya are advancing, but where's your proof? How do we know this isn't a ploy to draw us into your conflict?"

Yamamoto's expression remained calm, but his tone grew sharper. "I don't need to convince you of the Kaguya's threat. You know their reputation. They're a clan of destruction, and they'll bring that destruction to your borders sooner than you think."

The Yuki leader leaned forward, studying Yamamoto intently. "You speak with conviction. I respect that. And I respect the strength you're known for. But the Yuki clan is not easily swayed. If the Kaguya truly threaten us, we'll need more than words to act."

Akiko, who had remained silent until now, took a step forward. "With all due respect, Yuki-dono, you don't have time to wait. The Kaguya are moving fast, and they won't give you the luxury of preparation."

The leader's gaze shifted to Akiko, then back to Yamamoto. "Your subordinate is bold. I can see why you brought her."

"She's right," Yamamoto said. "The Kaguya won't wait for you to settle your affairs. If you won't fight alongside us, at least prepare your defenses. But I came here hoping for an alliance. Together, we stand a chance. Divided, we'll both fall."

The leader sat back, his expression thoughtful. "You've given me much to consider. The Yuki clan does not take alliances lightly. But if what you say is true, it may be necessary. For now, I will not commit to action. Bring me proof of the Kaguya's movements, and we will discuss this further."

Yamamoto inclined his head. "Understood. But remember this—time is not on our side. The longer we wait, the stronger the Kaguya's position becomes."

The leader motioned for the guards. "Escort them out. Ensure they leave without incident."

As Yamamoto and Akiko stepped back into the icy night, Akiko let out a frustrated sigh. "That went better than I expected, but it still feels like a waste of time. They're too cautious."

"They're cautious for a reason," Yamamoto replied. "They've survived in this land by being careful. But we'll find the proof they need. They'll see the truth soon enough."

The two disappeared into the mist, their mission far from over .
