The sound of keys opening the door caught Jada's attention as she watched TV. Before she could get up, she saw Ren holding their daughter Yueyue in one hand and carrying a bag in the other.
"Mommy~~~" Yueyue kicked off her little shoes and ran towards Jada with a joyful expression. "Daddy bought lots and lots of snacks today~~~"
Yueyue's words made Jada glance at the bag in Ren's hand.
"Well, I know you like sweets, and a new chain store just opened, so I bought some on the way."
After tidying up Yueyue's scattered shoes, Ren showed Jada the bag he was carrying.
"But don't complain about needing to lose weight later," Ren joked as he placed the bag on the coffee table and started taking out the contents.
There were small cakes with white cream and red strawberries, Black Forest cake, donuts, and meat floss cakes.
"The meat floss cakes are mine~~~" Yueyue cheered and grabbed one of the four-pack cakes.
She loved these cakes the most, with their thick layer of meat floss and a bit of seaweed on the outside and soft, fluffy cake on the inside. They tasted sweet~~~
Jada rolled her eyes at Ren and gave him a gentle kick, expressing her displeasure at his teasing.
However, Jada couldn't help but glance at the cakes on the table.
Few women can resist sweet treats.
After handing one to Ren, Jada picked up a cake and cut a piece with the provided plastic knife, then put it in her mouth.

She was pregnant?!
Ren's expression became a mix of emotions, and he finally asked for confirmation, "You… are pregnant?"
"Yes…" Jada nodded shyly.
Although this was her second child, it felt different with her husband by her side this time.
"Let's go to the hospital!!!"
Even though the pregnancy test was positive, Ren trusted a doctor's judgment more. Without another word, he grabbed Jada's hand and headed out the door.
"Yueyue, stay home! Don't open the door for strangers!"

"Based on your description…" the doctor said calmly after listening to Ren and Jada. "These symptoms do indicate pregnancy, but you can also do an HCG test to confirm."
After speaking, the doctor typed on the keyboard and printed a form.

As expected, Jada was indeed pregnant.
