Earlier

The ride back to the palace was filled with an awkward silence. Immediately I got to the palace, I just left the car without wishing her goodbye.

I wasn't going to give up on her though. I was going to claim her as mine and make sure that she has eyes for me and only me.

I went to take a shower. I was going to meet Tristan. I needed to know more about the quantinite stone. I had my breakfast in my room and I went to the meeting room. I arrived at the meeting room to see Tristan going inside. I stayed far away and heard them talking.

"Good morning Alpha Tristan" Alexander greeted Tristan as he stepped in the meeting room. "I think you already know why I had called you here".

"I won't know if you don't tell me," Tristan replied. It was just like him to give snarky remarks.
