"What is this five-head meeting, is anybody going to tell me?" asked Ash.
"You will know when the time will come no need to worry yourself now," said Yuri.
"Yeah, till then try to keep yourself alive and don't repeat your mistake, you should head back now," said Sasha.
Ash gave one last look to Yuri and bid them goodbye. When he reached back in the elven kingdom in his room, it was still midnight and he had just taken a bath in the magical water which had sucked out all the exhaustion from his body so he didn't want to sleep at all. The whole house was quiet everyone sleeping in their rooms. Ash sneaked out of the house, Maya must have done something to make sure she knew if somebody entered the house, but she might not have thought about anybody leaving in the middle of the night.
Ash was again mesmerized by the peaceful beauty of the city in the night, he was reminded of the last time he was roaming the city this time, he was reminded of Amyra the room in her house, and her tea. He found himself again going through the same market streets, the effects of the water were still on his mind, it was like he had just taken a sip of a very sweet and warm whiskey. He thought for a second he had forgotten where her house was and was on the wrong street but then he saw the window from which he had first seen her. It was closed now, he went to the front door and lightly knocked on the door, unsure of what he should do if she was sleeping which she most probably was. He stood there under a lantern hanging under a branch of the tree lighting the street in front of her house, it was as if the trees knew what was needed the branch was growing towards the street in just the right direction, he felt like someone had done this intentionally so that he didn't miss the house.
The door finally opened and Amyra smiled at him from inside her house.
"Come in, it's cold outside," she said, she had been sleeping, her hair was tide behind her head like Fiona used to do when she was going to bed, and she had a shawl around her.
"Sorry, I shouldn't have come, I woke you up," said Ash.
"Come in, come in, I wouldn't have opened the door if I didn't want to be disturbed," she said and moved aside and gestured for him to enter, he slid past her, it was like entering a different world, he left all the chaos outside, the smell and everything about the house reminded him of home and made him relax like he was again in another kind of sacred water.
"Then you knew it was me, who knocked?" he asked.
"Yeah, I think so, nobody else knocks so softly and in that rhythm, it just felt like you," she said.
"I guess you are back for the tea?" she asked.
"Yeah, Kevin is sleeping?" he asked.
"I suppose he should be at the shelter they made for the kids, it's in the safest part according to them and they can be evacuated very quickly from there too," she replied.
"Come on take a seat, by the fire," she said and Ash again took a seat in the cozy chair near the slow fire in the same room.
