章節 87: Truth or Not

The beginning of her third week as part of the unemployed population had Emily regretting quite a bit. She did not regret that she had quit, that was something that she had really needed to do.

What she did regret though, was the fact that she had not really thought things through. With work no longer guiding how her day went, Emily was lost. And as much as she was trying to hide it, she was scared that at some point, her mom would know. And her realizing that, would most probably lead to her learning off all the big lies that Emily had been telling. The oldest one being that her sleeping problems were cured, and the most recent one being that she still had a job.

It was a lot of stress, a lot of pressure. 

And as usual, Emily did what she always did whenever she was feeling overwhelmed or lost…she embroidered.
