Danny stops in his tracks, looking angry. "Wesley, are you here?" His tone has changed and now he sounds almost bored instead of smug. He mumbles something then scans the surroundings.

Frustration eats at me. If he leaves this warehouse, he is going to be free to keep hunting Wesley. I know that Sasha and Miles aren't going to make any move on Wesley yet. They want both Peter and Danny. Should I do something? Maybe not. I don't want to ruin the plans that they already have in mind.

Then a cold metal presses at the back of my neck and I freeze. "Well, well well, what do we have here?" Peter Sawyer rumbles from behind me.
