POV : MIKAEL
TIME : NIGHT
Time was very irrelevant now that Mika thought about it . What was he supposed to consider while he was in the God realm . His own internal clock , or the time of the tower .
Mika had headed to the market place both for an objective as well as to admire it's beauty .
It was dark , so Mika liked to believe it was night time and he wondered how that made sense . How does night and day work inside a huge tower . He was questioning the practically of it and then remembered he was supposed to be dead .
The night market had a certain level of beauty that simply attracted him . The light , the people , the noise , the buildings . They weirdly caught his attention with how they mix to something that was enchanting .
Mika kept to himself . He might have been arrogant but he knew it did not mean much without the strength to back it up .
And that was why he avoided eye contact as much as possible . With how much he understood human nature , some people would act on the pettiest things .
Mika's destination was a blacksmith , not any one in particular . They were several blacksmiths inside the tower and he did not care enough for anyone too impressive , just one who could do a proper job .
Mika at least hopped there would be a type of notification board for such things but unfortunately , it was not there . It looked like a practical idea to have .
His best bet was using an informant but finding a reliable one was even harder . He'd have to fear being told half truths which were not that reliable and could potentially worsen his situation and that's why he did not go with that route .
But the system also said any thing could be bought in the tower and that was why he was headed to a particular shop . What criterior the system judged to consider his needs , he did noy know .
It did not take long to reach the shop . The sign was of a black hammer hitting an anvil . ' The First Smiths ' the sign read
' Jingle jingle '
Mika entered the store over the slow jingle of bells . The store attendant was bearded buff black guy .
His smile was wide and welcoming but Mika had already learnt his lesson with dealing with smiling store clerks .
He also smiled back towards the attendant and walked forward .
" I'd like to make an order . "
Mika removed the two items he to be forged . The titanium alloy and the bloodied knife .
The attendant looked at him weirdly almost curiously at what he was seeing .
" You're still on you first three missions right ? " He talked for the first time to ask a question . He had studied the two items before looking at him again .
Mika wondered how he came to that conclusion . Was it that obvious , or was there something else he did not know . His expression was mostly blank apart from the smile he had .
He did not answer but looked directly at the man's brown eyes . His silence visibly creeped out the man with how fast he asked his next question .
" What would you like me to make . " The man's nervousness disappeared replaced with the a practical business smile .
" I want you to make me an axe using this two materials . The knife's blade should be used as the edge for the axe . " The man nodded following his orders .
" Do you have a design in mind or do you need me to bring samples for you to choose . " The man asked
" Pick any design . As long as the axe is completed in the next 10 hrs . Is that possible ? " Mika asked the man and that was the main reason he picked a randm blacksmith .
He needed the order to be completed quickly and going to a popular blacksmith with his lack of money would at best get him kicked out or possibly scammed .
The man tried his best in holding back his smile but failed in the end . He started rubbing his hands and Mika wondered whether he had forgotten he was here .
" Yes it is possible . But the price will rise . You know I'm a very busy man and I have alot of orders to . . . WAITTT !!"
Mika had turned to leave the store . Did this guy think he was stupid . Busy ! The man had been practically dozing of when Mika entered the store and he was saying he was busy .
He stopped at the door at turned to the guy , waiting for him to make a better deal . But first , he needed to be pressured .
" I have another appointment down the streets if this one doesn't work out . " Was he lying , yes but would the man know ? Obviously not . He added a bit of a mocking glance to make sure the man knew he was serious
Mika was confident that his blank look could fool anyone .
" I'm sure we can negotiate a price . " Mika had stopped and studied the man . How his eyes moved , his breathing , the twitching in his lips .
He was waiting for the man to lie t him and Mika nodded signaling him to continue .
" How about 8000 points , that sound like a fair price . "
Mika did not even have to use his eyes to see that the man was lying . This was a business and he did not want to try using intimidation without knowing how strong the guy was
That was why he did the most reasonable thing for anyone in his situation . He turned and started walking away .
" WAITT !! How about 7500 . . ."
Mika did not stop but he was walking slowly , taking his time reaching the door
" . . . .7000 ! . . . 6500 . . . 6200 . . . "
Mika still did not feel the sinceretity , the man could still go lower and why not . At best he was molding a weapon and sharpening it . He was now holding the handle of the door an prepaired to turn it .
" Okay , okay . . . 5500 . That's my final price ." Their was a mild hurt in his voice and Mika was happy enough to quickly re approach the man
" Deal !! " He was smiling happily while shacking his hand strongly . The man also did the same matching his strength .
Mika was sure he was still being scammed but he'd rather not argue to the point the man actually kicked him out .
" Let's sign a contract . " Mika said using his own points . The basis of it was if the guy failed to complete the weapon in the given time , he would make a weapon for him for free and give him back twice the points he had paid . Any left over material would be used to make multiple thin needle which Mikael knew how he would make use of them
The contract was more of a protection to him and the 1000 points it took to make it work was worthwhile .
" Now let's talk about design " The man started smiling again . He had quickly gotten over the earlier deal and had moved on .

Mika was moving to another part of the Market . The area was still filled with countless contestants but getting around was not that difficult .
Mika was headed to another part of the market area . It was in a way less populated most likely the buyer wishing to maintain their privacy .
He did not mind the secrecy but it did come with a certain level of danger . Maybe he was being scammed or maybe not .
Mika approached the meeting location and started looking for the buyer . He was given a way to easily spot them and it did not take long for Mika to see the group of three .
A sole female dressed in long dark robes with blonde hair , a short man who was seemed unable to sit silently on his seat with one of his eyes covered with an eye patch and another muscular man with a bastard sword on his side sitted with his eyes tightly closed
This was the people he was to meet and Mika took the lone sit at the table and observed their expressions .
This allowed him to notice the slightly opening eyes of the sole lady but she did not speak . The movement of the short man was even more obvious as his head quickly turned to the lady and looked back at him .
In that short moment that their eyes had met , a conversation that Mika was not aware of had happened .
" Do you have the goods " The short man was now as it seemed the spokesperson for this negotiation .
Mika popped up the screen showing the information for the four processor chips . It would be foolish of him to show of a product that was not yet sold .
The short man nodded in satisfaction but his eyes instinctually always differed to the robbed woman . A fact that he himself probably did not know
" What's your price . " The short man's face hardened . The time for negotiation had arrived and he would not let this oportunity pass .
By what the robbed woman had told him , The contestant sitted in front of him was a beginner , a new blood in his own words .
This was a perfect opportunity to buy of the proccesor chips at the lowest price possible . The guy was practically begging to be scammed and as the good person he was , he would not deny his wishes .
That was why he had schooled his features as he continued to listen to the dialouge of his two companions over the chat function .
" I want to exchange the chips for information . Mostly about attributes ,the first three missions and the kingdom outside the tower . "
Mika said and he saw the look of confusion that appeared on the short man . This confusion soon changed to shock as his eyes opened wide and his mouth formed an O
" A beginner who somehow survived his first mission without any help !" The robed woman for the first time spoke silently to herself and looked on more curiously and why not . It was a shocking event . If the beginner had followed the proper procedure during his first mission , he would have known about the information he was asking from them .That was how basic it was .
" How are you alive ! " The short man could not hold back his curiosity and why not . None of the three could . Using the little information they had , This beginer sitted infront of them had gone to the Terminator random world for his first mission and not only had he survived , he had also managed to beat four or more terminators .
Yes , they could say he had help but from his luck of knowledge on the basics information such as the information on attributes , that was unlikely .
So the only reasonable conclusion was that he had survived the Terminator world without any help !!!
