I asked myself while seating in my car, minutes after leaving Jason's presence, with his black card still in my grip. I turned the card around and rolled my eyes at the fact that his phone number was written behind it with a Permanent ink.

I let out a laugh as I pocketed the card. This made me feel like I was in one of those chessy novels, where the arrogant male lead gives the timid and shy main character a limitless black card. In those cheesy novels, the main characters always refuse to accept the card no matter what, and if they do get to accept the card, they barely spend a dime from the card.

That was the last thing I'd be doing.

I drove out of the packing lot while a lot of thoughts ran through my mind at the same time. I didn't know what Jason hoped to achieve by giving me this card, but whatever it was that he hoped to achieve, he'd definitely be getting the complete opposite of that.
