Very early the next morning, Liam decided to go see his mother and tell her he wouldn't be able to follow through with their deal.

Liam had been unable to sleep all through the night after his call with Phil. He had been thinking long and hard about how he could appease his mother and at the same time have what he wanted.

He didn't want to have to choose between Fiona and his mom since he loved them both and they meant a lot to him. So, after thinking, he decided that going to talk to his mother and letting her know just how much he loved Fiona was the only right thing to do.

With a deep breath, Liam got out of bed and began to get ready to face his mother. He knew it wouldn't be an easy conversation, but he was resolute in his decision. He couldn't continue to pretend that he was okay with sacrificing his relationship with Fiona in order to appease his mother's desires.
