Liam groaned the moment he heard his mother. Although he had known she would come to find out, he hadn't expected it to be so soon. How did she even know?

"Mom..." he tried to talk but his mother cut him off angrily.

"Don't mom me. What is she doing here? Isn't it enough that you went to hire a slut to...."

Fiona interjected, not wanting to be mistaken for an escort, yet again. "With all due respect, ma'am, I'm not a slut. And although I know I was wrong to have lied about my identity, I was left with no choice since I had to do the job I was paid to do," she said and Harriet looked at her incredulously.

"How dare you, a low-class bitch talk back at me?" Harriet said, her words, accompanied by a slap.

"That's enough Mom!" Liam exclaimed, not liking the direction things were going. It was all his fault so why was his mom blaming Fiona?
