"Rosabella is someone who is used to bending the truth for her own benefit. If I were you, I wouldn't believe a word she says," Raphael said before he captured my hand and began placing soft kisses against its palm. All the while, he stared down at me, and I found my heart skipping at a dangerous speed in my chest. I was stunned speechless as I felt small jolts of pleasure running from the palm of my hand and up my arm until my body trembled slightly.

"She's probably still out cold now at the bar. I guess that's a fair price for trying to get me drunk," Raphael said before letting out a small laugh.

"You left her there?" I asked without hiding my astonishment.

"Someone will take care of her and bring her back in due time," Raphael replied dismissively before he continued leisurely kissing my fingers and then my wrist.

"Ahh..." I let out a small moan despite my efforts to hold it in.
