"Stay back. I will handle them," Asher said.

I looked at him with raised brows as he stood in front of me like a protective shield.

Well, this feeling of being protected was good, but... It was definitely not something I enjoyed, not until it was my favorite man standing in front of me to protect me.

'You mean our Alpha Maverick?' Aurora wriggled her brows at me, and I seriously doubted if a wolf was supposed to do this. 

'You either help me or stop distracting me,' I glared at her, making her pout.

'I was just saying. You don't need to be so mean to me,' She whispered and I rolled my eyes before humming, looking back at the Lycan.

I am sure he thought I was some weak ass who needed protection, but what he didn't know was that I was a pro thief too.

I grinned at the Lycan who widened his eyes at me.

"I am sure you would've done the same if you were in my position," I said to him with a smile.
