VALENCIA'S POV

Something was strange.

I could feel it in the air.

No. Actually, I could feel it in my mouth. What was this weird taste? I was almost feeling like a vampire who drank someone's blood.

Gosh!! Even the thought of it is disgusting and nerve-wracking. I groaned, kicking my legs in the air as I looked around, feeling strange.

Was someone in my room last night?

I indeed felt like I heard Shadow's voice.

With wide eyes, I stood from my place and rushed to the drawer.

Seeing my identity card still intact in the box with nothing touched, I heaved a sigh of relief.

Thank God Shadow wasn't here. There is no way he would've left such crucial evidence against me untouched. I mean there was no other reason for him to come here other than spying on me because of how much of a loyal beta he was.

Not to mention, I would've felt it if he was here.

But about that strangely vivid dream that I had...
