'Do you want a kiss?' I heard the familiar whisper, and I smiled.

'What if I want?' I couldn't help but ask playfully, wanting to act on instinct for the first time. I didn't even know what was going on in my head to play along so brazenly.

A man was standing in front of me with his back facing me. Quite muscular I must add.

'In that case, would you allow me to stay by your side when you go in heat?' The man asked, raking his hand through his hair.

However, I was still not able to see his face.

A soft blush rose on my cheeks, and I looked at my feet shyly.

'How do you know about my heat? And why do you think you can come near me during my heat? You are not my mate, are you?' I smiled, a little embarrassed.

The man didn't say anything for a few seconds before he scoffed. Even his scoff sounded sexy and velvety, making me want to touch myself just at the thought of such a nice voice whispering love words in my ears.
