章節 16: Trapped with him?

VALENCIA'S POV

"Do you want something else to eat?" The beta asked me for the umpteenth time and like all those times earlier, I shook my head in denial while he adjusted me in the comforter right beside him on the couch, only my head poking out. 

Do I want something to eat? How can I think of eating anymore when I have realized this person has no intention of letting me go anytime soon?

I looked at the clock on the wall and noticed how I was running out of time. Damn it. I will have to think of something.

"What kind of cartoons or things do you watch? Do you even watch TV?" He asked me, and I looked at him, finding it hard to decipher his actions and what was going on inside his head. 

He was joking with me, right?

Why was he acting like that with a cat? Was it because he was a cat person or was he so lonely that he was delighted with a cat's presence with him?
