章節 88: Chapter 88 - Asia’s Confession
After almost three months break in another world which is just two weeks in her own world, she returned to school and became quite the center of attention among her female classmates. Particularly the nosy one.
"So, Asia. Where did you go during your two week absence?"
"Yeah! Yeah! You just suddenly vanished on us without any news and the teacher said you are away because of family matters."
Asia was bombarded with questions when she arrived early at her class and immediately surrounded by her classmates.
"Ah… well… We are still in Japan." Asia said technically, Yamato is Japan. "I went to a lot of places and… Ah! I bought some souvenirs too." She took out the souvenir that Kuroka reminded her to buy which works to distract her classmates.
Those souvenirs look like regular wooden carvings of animals, plants and objects. But they were actually charms she bought from a Youkai town when she was traveling through the Four Land Dukedom.
"Oh! Thank you, Asia! I want this rabbit carving." Someone said while looking at the carving she selected.
"I want this butterfly carving." Another said while looking at the carving which is very intricate and life-like.
Then came Xenovia who noticed the supernatural power contained in the charm. It's just a harmless charm that brings luck and ward off evil like any charm distributed by a shrine albeit much more potent. So, she didn't make any fuss about it and took one.
Xenovia conveniently sat next to Asia and she had been tasked to find out what had Ray been up to when he went missing along with everyone in the mansion which honestly made the higher up of the church have a panic attack.
"So… I heard you were absent for two weeks because you have family matters to attend to. Is it true?" Xenovia asked offhandedly to not sound forceful with her question.
"Well we are having a vacation technically. In another world." Asia said, didn't mind sharing to Xenovia as she is aware of the supernatural world.
"In another world?" Xenovia almost exclaimed but managed to hold herself back in time but her jaw remained hanging in shock.
"Yes. It's name is Theldesia but he said the land shape is still like Earth and we had our vacation in Yamato, it's a land the same as Japan. I went across Yamato, visiting numerous places and people. It's very fun while it lasted." Asia shared her experience happily as she considers Xenovia her true friend.
"I see…" Xenovia nodded off and didn't know where to continue the conversation until someone suddenly interjected the conversation.
"Did I hear you just said you went on a vacation?"
"Aika-san." Asia almost spluttered, thinking Aika might have overheard what she said to Xenovia but she didn't look like she did.
"So, did you go with your family or… with your boyfriend?" Aika slips herself next to Asia before playfully nudging her side while giving her the knowing look.
"What! No… I mean, I didn't go with a boyfriend. Just with family." Asia said she sees Kuroka as a reliable older sister, so she is a family.
"Well, that's boring." Aika said as Asia wouldn't lie so, she took her words at face value.
"Don't you have any guy that you are interested in or in love with?" Aika asked randomly just to pick on Asia.
"What? No… A nun vowed their body and chastity to their lord in heav…en." The answer came out naturally as that is what ingrained in her mind throughout her life. Xenovia also nodded at her side, agreeing to what Asia just said. However, Asia just realized something.
God is dead. What remains up there is the liar Michael masquerading as God to maintain the faith and religion of Biblical God.
Asia had long forsaken and renounced herself from the false church and liar Michael who lied to her and made her live a life filled with difficulty for the promise of reuniting with her lord who turned out to be a dead god without even an intact corpse.
Like Ravel, Asia converts her faith to Ray. A real and living god. The one that saved her on that fateful day she was exiled for a reason she finds stupid even to this day. For the sake of maintaining the fragile Heaven's System in the absence of Biblical God, she was branded a witch and exiled to be taken in by Fallen Angels that wanted to use her as a sacrifice to gain power.
Well, the rest didn't matter. What matters is that she is still a nun, a sister and a holy priestess of Ray, her chosen god. Does that mean she indirectly vowed to be his bride?
Asia couldn't stop her own imagination from going wild and it also didn't help that each of Ray's humanoid forms is irresistible. Especially his adult form which looks very handsome and manly.
"Oh, so much for having none. You clearly do have one. My, I never thought our pure little Asia actually had a guy she had a crush on." Aika chuckled with one hand covering her mouth, smirking at Asia who blushed even deeper.
"Wha! No! He… he is already married… I can't…" Asia looks a little discouraged when she remembers Ray already has two wives.
"Oh, dang! A married man! Damn, Asia! I didn't know you were that daring." Aika is thoroughly surprised to hear as she expected the person to be their age.
"I am not. We are just… friends. He is my best friend. He helps me when I have nowhere to go." Asia said with a reminiscing look at the memories of the first time they met. At the park during that rainy night.
Meanwhile Xenovia already had an inkling of who this 'friend' was and her face immediately turned ugly at the thought of it. After all, on the outside, people only know Ray has one form and the thought of a cat and a human… Let's just say, Xenovia had a hard time computing the scene in her head.
"H-He also has a few daughters too…" Asia blurted out when she thought about how Sirin, Sakura and Abby react when Asia suddenly becomes their mothers too.
"Ohh!" The crowd reacted.
Quite the crowd gathered as her classmates were also very interested in the gossip.
Aika suddenly hooks her arm around Asia's shoulder and gives her a reassuring look and a thumbs up.
"You liked him don't you?" Aika asked while the crowd was looking with anticipation for her answer.
"Y-Yes…" Asia whispers. But Aika isn't satisfied.
"Louder! Let us hear how much you love him! Is your love for this this weak?" Aika purposely taunts her.
"I… I really love Ray!" She said loudly, after being pressured to. But she did admit her feelings.
"Then don't worry, Asia. With the Love Master, Dr Aika, here. There's nothing impossible. Follow my advice and I assure you that no man alive can resist your charm!" Aika declared with a raging spirit to help Asia fulfill her unrequited love.
Asia stood up and bowed to everyone, thanking them for their support as if she had just finished a performance.
People clamored in to provide support to Asia since she is such a lovable girl, she garnered the support of all her classmates. Except Issei who honestly didn't want to care but he still faithfully relay this information to his King. Who knows if it's useful.
Unknowingly, Asia coming out with her feelings for Ray caused a chain reaction that disturbed the calm water of Ray's household as Ravel who think her position is stable are now threatened to be left behind in dust if she didn't get serious.
