Unlike what had happened during the war and especially after the experience following the meteorite attack, the high command of the various navies decided not to rush to make public announcements, but rather carefully planned all the steps and all the plans they were going to execute. They had four years ahead of them, four years to prepare to select the humans who would travel on the space station assembled and prepared on the structure of the Helena.
Despite all the efforts that humans could make, they could only accommodate a maximum of two hundred million people out of the more than one and a half billion citizens. That meant that they were not assured of the salvation of even an eighth of the humans.
Pandora would hold out alongside humanity until the last moment; it would be when the black hole began to form that the forbidden planet would travel to the past to open the way to the new planet of humans on the other side of the universe.
