As the food was served, Narah kept glancing at the doorway, her anticipation evident. Sensing her daughter's unease, Mrs Royce passed her plate and inquired if everything was alright. Narah brushed off the concern, insisting there was nothing to worry about, and began eating. Despite her composed facade, she couldn't help but gush over the delicious food, closing her eyes in delight.
Observing Narah's behaviour, both DD and the aunt exchanged knowing glances. "Is she pregnant or something ? She's acting like a pregnant woman," they whispered to each other, Annika simply smiled, enjoying the spectacle. Meanwhile , Narah caught a whiff of familiar fragrance and turned towards the living room doorway, where she spotted her husband,Jay, standing confidently with folded hands,a smile adorning his face.
In disbelief , Narah exclaimed, "Jay!" She questioned if she was dreaming and asked Annika to pinch her. With a slight wince from the pinch, she realized it was real and hurriedly embraced Jay. They held each other tightly, lost in the moment. Jay reassured her with a smile, revealing that he had no intention of returning to London.
Shocked, Narah questioned who would manage their business. Jay assured her that his father would handle it in his absence. Pulling her closer, he expressed his desire to fast together for their first Karva Chauth. Tenderly kissing her hands, Jay whispered, "Come to me baby", as they shared a heartfelt embrace, revealing in their reunion.
