EMILY'S POV.

I wanted to hit myself if I could, but of course, I couldn't. Maybe a written apology the next morning would do. I didn't want him thinking I was taking his friendship for granted.

I got to my room lazily, and opened the door feeling like shit, only to scream, as I saw Lucas sitting on my bed, with his legs crossed.

I looked behind me, like I would be able to see him sitting at the dining. What was he doing there? Who was the person I left at dinner?

"Lucas?"

"Do you think it's a ghost?"

"I… I left you at dinner."

"Oh, I took the other way, and raced you to your room." He said, and my cheeks flushed. I could feel the mean, nasty girls in me ready to resume the fight.

Gosh, why won't they rest? They should just stop! I didn't want to fight, I only wanted answers because my brain wouldn't stop coming up with nasty answers of its own.

"Oh."

"Are you jealous?" He asked, and my eyes opened wide.
