Ji Yao turned around and was startled to see a drunken man not far from her, his shifty eyes scanning her up and down.

Feeling coveted was not pleasant. Ji Yao instinctively took several steps back, wanting to keep her distance from the man.

However, it seemed the man noticed Ji Yao's resistance and guessed that she was helpless against his approach, which made him even bolder.

"Don't be scared, it won't take long. Why don't you go have a few drinks with me?"

Logically speaking, a drunk person should be unconscious and unsteady on their feet, but Ji Yao noticed that the man was walking steadily, merely appearing a bit tipsy.

This was clearly liquid courage; he wasn't actually drunk at all!

"Don't come any closer, or I'll call the police!" Ji Yao shouted sternly.

But this only seemed to excite the man even more, and he quickened his pace toward Ji Yao.
