Hong Yunyi, his face contorted in a mask of terror, threw open the floor-to-ceiling windows of his bed chamber. There, silhouetted against the blue sky, loomed a monstrous aircraft unlike anything he had ever witnessed in his life.

The Sky Shark was the pride of Germany's National Bureau of Service, a hulking beast of a bomber designed for surgical strikes against the most heavily fortified targets. Its sleek, obsidian form was equipped with twin colossal engines, each the size of a small building. They pulsed with an ominous orange glow, their deafening roar shaking the very foundation of the lavish mansion.

Nestled amongst the complex machinery were at least three colossal missiles, each tipped with a payload capable of reducing a skyscraper twice the height of the Eiffel Tower to smoldering rubble.
