He vaguely guessed Ava's thoughts. As long as she was happy, it would be fine. Nathan sighed and called Chris.

"Stop what I instructed you to do yesterday for now. Ava is currently looking for partners. If you have any resources to help connect her, do so. If you encounter any difficulties, come to me."

Chris was surprised to hear this from Nathan. "Didn't you say yesterday that you wanted to..."

Nathan's expression was stern. "I've changed my mind. Do as I say."

Seeing Nathan finally come to his senses, Chris felt relieved. He had been anxious since hearing Nathan's instructions the previous day, fearing that Ava would find out what he was doing.
