章節 20: Do we have a deal?

She peeked over her shoulders to be sure she wasn't followed. Her heels clicked against the gravel as she walked. She walked into a tall building with cracked walls and faded paint. It seemed abandoned, as the window panes were in bad shape. 

She sighed as she took long, steady strides into the building. "It's only a psychopath that would choose to meet here," she said. 

She came into an empty but big room; the wall paints were already peeling, the windows were shattered, and the floor was scattered with a mix of dust, dirt, dried paints, and pieces of peeled paint that fell off the wall. There was a shabby wooden desk at the far end of the room, and the books and items on it were covered in dust and cobwebs. 

She raked her fingers through her hair as she exhaled deeply. She put her elbow over her mouth as she coughed. She took out her phone from her back pocket, but there was no signal.
