Caroline looked up at him. With just one look, she could confirm that Kenneth was a frivolous man who preferred beautiful women.

"No, I don't mind. Please take a seat, Mr. Groening."

Kenneth sat down with a smile on his face and said, "Miss Simons, why are you drinking juice? I'll go get you a glass of wine."

"There's no need for that, Mr. Groening. I'm pregnant. Alcohol's a no-no for me," Caroline said calmly and politely.

Kenneth's expression was interesting to watch.

After a long while, he said in a dull voice, "Yes, of course. You should stay away from alcohol."

He found an excuse to sneak away after a few seconds. Caroline almost laughed out loud. The men who came here wanted to get laid. Who would be that stupid to hook up with a pregnant woman?
