章節 28: Chapter 28 Do You Want to Marry Me?

"Hey, it's fine," Loraine stopped him in time and offered, "I can just give you a ride, in case my driver loses you on the way."

Haward pretended to consider the thought for around two seconds before he agreed reluctantly. He complimented her again, "You really are a thoughtful person!"

Loraine took the initiative to open the door for Haward as he got in the car, smiling all the way. Then, the car departed in no time!

When Caroline walked out from the company's entrance, she was just in time and saw the Lamborghini driving away!

This younger stepsister of hers was from a different mother. It was hard to imagine how Loraine could play the part of a goody two shoes for the past three years! Fortunately, after the devastating betrayal by Tyler and Loraine, Caroline managed to survive and learned to be more sensible and wise.  

Haward had tricked Loraine and managed to lead her away, but Caroline did not feel distressed at all. All she felt was sheer enjoyment!
