They arrived very late. All Ned wanted was to find his bed and touch Cersei. The journey back was harsh. The temperatures dropped fast. The prince and Robb rode ahead with Rickon. Ned and Jon stayed back with the last of the men.
"You are worried." Ned spoke up.
Jon nodded. "I should not have come. Daenerys was not well this morning."
"Your mother was sick as a horse with all of your siblings. Granted I was not there when she was heavy with Robb or Rickon but she should have been the same way. It means the babe is strong." Ned replied.
Jon nodded. He was still anxious. "She is young and she will be fine. The babe will be fine." Ned said offhandedly.
"How do you know?" Jon asked.
Ned looked ahead. "It is what they do. They were built to have babes. Women are far more resilient that we are. They see more blood and face more pain men ever do. Your mother alone birthed six alive children, a stillborn and had two miscarriages. I should also count her painful moon times. Your queen will be fine."
They rode in silence after that. Ned was happy to see Cersei with Rickon. Jon went ahead to his quarters. Robb and the prince disappeared as well.
"My love." Cersei kissed his lips. "I had a bath drawn for you. I will put Rickon to sleep." She said efficiently.
Ned stepped into his quarters and undressed. He went to the bath room and dipped into the heavenly hot water. Cersei massaged his back. "Did you have a productive journey?"
"We did." He sighed when she pulled his hair back and untangled it. "Your hair is far too long."
Cersei kissed his neck. "Come and join me." Ned turned. His wife gave him that grin. "I will make it worth your while." He replied and kissed her. His Lioness undressed and then straddled him. She put her hair up. Ned went for her neck. His lady wife moaned when he pinched a nipple.
They kissed and washed each other. Ned gently washed her back and kissed her neck. "How was your day?"
"I keep worrying about our son." She sighed.
Ned kissed her earlobe. "I have grown jealous of that boy. He occupies your thoughts far too much."
Cersei's twinkling laughter filled his ear. He let her speak about the queen and their future grandchild. "I have had enough of their troubles. He is too old. Let him live." Ned finally said and stood up. He helped his wife up and carried her to their bed.
She was on their bed, naked. Ned looked at her and wanted to lick heHIJ9.r place. He did so. Ned forced his Cersei to forget about their wayward son. Enough was enough. Jon was a man grown. He went to war twice. He was not theirs anymore. Ned refused to make him his problem anymore.
He would fuck Cersei into understanding that Jon needed to defend himself now. None of their children ever gave them such difficulties not even Bran or Joanna.
Ned licked her button and loved the way she opened her legs, and tried to reach for his hair. She moaned and keened as he sucked on her hard. Cersei came quickly and pushed him up for a kiss. "I want you to fuck me hard." She panted and turned around. Ned was treated to her backside. The man did not have to be told twice. He pulled on his cock and spit on his hand. He should not have because his lady wife was soaking wet.
He pulled her by the hair, "Do you want my cock inside your cunt?" He asked harshly as he teased her with his member.
"Yes Ned." She moved her arse towards him and Ned almost lost it. He grabbed her hips and pushed into her. He pounded into her and loved how her arse jiggled. Ned slapped her arse cheeks. He pushed her up by the hair and sat back with her. Lord Stark whispered very filthy things to her wife. "I am going to fuck you until you have no more breath. Do you want me to do that? He thrust in harder. Cersei shook and rasped "fuck me Ned."
It was all he needed. Ned fucked her hard. He was pistoned inside of her until his lady wife collapsed on the furs. Lord Stark came hard and thrust one last time. He kissed his wife's cheek. "I love your cunt."
Cersei laughed and stood up. She went to retrieve some rags and cleaned them. She then kissed him and slept on his chest.
Ned would have time to reflect on the events of the following weeks. He would remember the nice things. Lord Stark would remember Rickon and Eddard running inside the castle. He would remember Jon and Robb organizing things for their journey. Tyrion had given them an ultimatum. They were to leave in seven weeks' times.
The queen began to show. None of the bannermen dared to state the obvious. It was evident that Daenerys Stormborn had been with child at the time of the wedding. Many of the men stated that the queen would surely be pregnant with twins. She looked healthier than before. It appeared that the sickness disappeared a few days after they came back from preparing Winterfell.
They were all about to close Winterfell because of the weather. Ned woke up early a week before his guests and sons were to leave. He kissed Cersei's forehead and left the rooms.
He was not surprised to see Robb and the prince side by side. Little Eddard ran around the hall.
"Where is his mother?" Ned asked as he sat down for breakfast.
He was not used to seeing children so unattended. Cersei always had a maiden or was running around with his children.
"She is indisposed this morning." Robb replied.
"I see." Ned started to have his food. He waited for Jon to come down. His son and the queen walked arm in arm. Daenerys Stormborn bloomed out. Not everyone was privy to the fact that she was with child but to the trained eye it was obvious that the queen was with child.
Jon kissed her hand and they sat down for breakfast. The girl scarfed down her breakfast. Sansa and children came downstairs. Little Jon immediately tried to join Eddard. Sansa pulled him away. "You will break your fast first." She said while she sat Tyrek.
Ned remembered when Jon and Robb were little. It was an ordeal to get them both to eat. "Where is Tyrion?" Ned asked.
"He's arranging the travels." Sansa answered a little flustered as Tyrek moved to grab porridge with his hands.
The redhead was about to apologize. "You get Jon and I will feed Tyrek." Ned said and took the very blonde boy.
"Here you go lad." Ned started feeding the boy who was very enthusiastic.
Cersei came down with Rickon by her side. She sat the boy to her right and had him eat. She took Tyrek out of his hands. "Have a good day my love." She pressed a kiss to his lips.
Ned smiled and kissed Rickon's head. Robb and the prince stood up as did Jon. Her eldest kissed the queen goodbye.
Lan, Ghost and Grey Wind followed their masters. Lord Stark walked and talked. "Jon, I need you to inspect the last of the supplies we received from the Manderlys. Robb, you and the prince will work on allocating the last of the free folk inside the newly built barracks. I expect you all to be in Winterfell before the sun sets. I have to oversee the grounds and make sure there are no more villagers without supplies for the storm."
The day was short after that. Lan found three men. They were lost and almost dead. Ned brought them to the courtyard. Ned met with Jon who reported that all the supplies had arrived without problems. The prince and Robb came back with good news as well. They were all ready to brave the storm.
They were all in one of the small hearths. The Tyrell girl looked better. She did not look sick at all. The queen and Sansa played with the Lannister children and Rickon. Little Eddard was with Cersei.
Cersei rocked him back and forth. She sang to him. "Eddard is feeling a bit sick and feverish." Cersei said as Robb came near his firstborn.
"Margaery, did you know of this?" Robb asked while swiping Eddard's hair back.
The Tyrell girl nodded, "the maester gave him some medicine. He is better now."
Cersei glared at their daughter in law. "Where were you this morning? My grandchild did not break his fast properly."
The Tyrell girl looked hurt, "I felt under the weather. Robb gave him his breakfast."
The Lioness of Winterfell roared with ourtage then. "Clearly, your mother taught you nothing on how to be a proper mother. You should have arranged for the proper care of your child. You now have a sick babe in winter, you stupid, simple girl. Clearly the only thing you are good at is smiling and opening your legs." Cersei hissed.
Margaery looked at her husband who remained silent. Ned thanked the Old Gods that he never had to be in this situation.
The room was very quiet. The Tyrell girl excused herself. She did not dare take away Eddard from Cersei's arms.
Cersei stoop up and left the rooms. Ned followed her.
"You were a bit harsh with the girl." Ned said as his wife placed Eddard on the bed.
"I was not. He could very well die." Cersei said angered.
"You hate the girl." Ned replied as Cersei covered their grandson.
"I do, but that is beside the point. This is about the fact that she is not a good mother. She disappears all the time. That boy is with Rickon all day. Where is the Tyrell girl? She claims indisposition, yet, she looks as healthy as one of the Reach horses." Cersei said ardently.
"Simmer down." Ned continued and appeased her somewhat.
The next few days were tense in that household. Eddard stayed in their quarters. The cold forced everyone to stay in their quarters. Cersei had been nursing Eddard. Rickon was healthy and well.
"Nana, when can I see mother?" Eddard asked after a couple of days.
Cersei smiled and kissed his forehead, "today my sweetling. I am sure she will be so happy to see you."
Eddard grinned and offered his little hand to Cersei. They walked to the great hall. Margaery and the prince broke their fast amicably.
Their grandchild ran to his mother. "Eddard." The woman smiled and hugged him tight.
Cersei did not speak to her. She sat down to eat her breakfast with Rickon.
Cersei decided to hold a small feast to celebrate the end of the storm and their guests' departures.
She enlisted Sansa and even the queen helped some. The feast was of course marvelous Cersei looked like the goddess she was. She wore a golden dress and emeralds on her hair. The queen wore a silver dress, Sansa looked beautiful in a red dress while his daughter in law wore a deep blue gown that was a little too revealing or so Cersei reminded him.
They danced. Robb and his wife were distanced it seemed. Their son danced with a couple of the handmaidens and Sansa. Tyrion laughed and drank a bit too much as did the prince.
They were all happy and merry it seemed. Ned had to admit that it was a good strategy to dissipate the tension in Winterfell. Ned kissed Cersei as she danced with Robb and Jon. His children spun their mother all over the hall. Ned laughed when the children kissed her mocked fought to dance with her.
Tyrion laughed too. "I remember those two desperate to see Cersei in Riverrun."
Ned nodded, the queen and Sansa smiled. "Cersei had just given birth to Tommen and Joanna. They came early. Jon did not know what was going on and Robb was much younger and clueless."
They all danced and retired in the small hours of the day.
Ned sought his wife that night and entered her slowly. He took his time and made her come twice before spilling on her tits.
He was rested and happy when it happened. They woke up to the sounds of dragons screeching and circling the skies above the courtyard.
