章節 5: Preperations

Now then going through the rather boring classes the same way that Shiro and Sora would want with their disinterest, not because they were bad, but just because it wasn't for them. Although the twos faces would light up more when they came to Toriel's class now, it seemed that all the bad thoughts and things washed off their faces like they forgot about the morning and just wandered right in taking a seat. And Toriel would begin teaching monster magic, but the students that were really looking at her could see she was slightly off with a bit of worry looking over her. "Good morning class, remember how I said I was going to teach you all about monster magic? Well today is that day. It's quite interesting." A student in the back would have raised his hand concerned. "Ms. Toriel are you alright?" Toriel would suddenly nod. "I'm quite alright, don't worry about it." The student replied "You tell us whenever we feel down just take a deep breath and think of the good things." Toriel would chuckle, putting more of a smile on her. "Yes you're quite right, but let me continue my lesson now." "So as you know monsters are made of pure magic, due to this they are more easily able to use different kinds of magic than a human could which is how they developed their own magic with this as they don't really have strong souls like humans to rely on. And so they've come up with different ways to use magic, but it is known that some kinda of monsters hold affinity to certain kind of magic. As for instance skeletons can be quite proficient at tiem magic, but it's not just what they are, it can be who they are as a person and what they do in their life. For instance that same skeleton seems to be able to control time atleast from what he told me. And he's quite good at it. It can't be his natural affinity though it was developed from his background in science. That should be all to tell for today the monsters don't have many specifics to go into.. Although if you want to learn more at home kiddos go on and look through the magic section of your books." There was a bit more spoken by Toriel, but it was then that she turned on a film for all the kids to watch. It was a superhero movie of a hero that was only in his underwear for some reason, but it was quite entertaining and grasped everyone's attention. Even Shiros and Soras as they were able to get their mind off the situation gladly. But that was only until they had managed to actually make it home after school where the entire situation would press around the air with everyone arriving once more. Once they entered the home Frisk would take a look around as most of them were chilling in the living room. It seemed everyone was done with their work as of now and Frisk would have been ready to speak now. "Alright everybody. Today is the day that we must start preparing. We only have today and tomorrow, but that's why we have the doctor to help us from the door! I'll explain, just walk with me." The others looked confused as they would've all filed into the room of Frisk and Chara, but they wouldn't see anything out of the ordinary. Frisk now walked towards the space between her and Chara's bed, seemingly then knocking on the wall that was barren there. There was a look of confusion coming from the rest, but that was only until a door would slowly make an appearance as it phased into existence once more from its previously nonexistent state. The door looked on with a mysterious presence. "Come on in." And now Frisk would've then opened the door now and stepped into it prompting everyone else to come into the door with her as well. When they were there was an awfully odd vibe that was going on within the area.. well all that was within the area was absolutely nothing. It was pure blackness the only thing that they would be able to see is each other. And Frisk would call out for Dr. Gaster, but no one would come. It was strange. Although he spoke in her head and told her "not yet." Now she would sigh although now it was game time. "Welcome to the void, a place where time doesn't flow-" Although after saying that she would then realize that almost everyone was frozen. The only other person that moved in there was Chara, Asriel, and Sans. Chara would be quick to reprimand them. "Frisk you idiot! Of course they can't move in here." Frisk would slightly chuckle as she rubbed her head filled with oddness. Now Frisk would use the slight control of the void given to her to set time within the void, but it was a lot slower than that of the real world. "Sorry you guys were frozen for a bit, but as I was saying time doesn't flow here, but i've changed it to now flow far slower we can go on until we're tied and head out, then we do this one more time tomorrow and hopefully we will be ready." A resounding nod would have come out from the crowd. As everyone would prepare themselves to practice. There were groups formed now. Frisk, Chara, Sora, Shiro, and then there is Axis, Toriel, Sans, Papyrus, finally the oddest pair which would have been Asriel and Undyne. Starting off with what the Human group has been doing it would seem they are all sitting still now with their eyes closed. It would be curious as to what they were doing certainly.. although they were trying to get more in tune with their souls. Their physical capabilities were fine, but if they were able to advance their soul they could get stronger all around as the soul influences all power. But more so apparently Frisk and Chara were on the cusps of an evolution that would advance their souls to a level that's never been seen before. The ability to advance or ascend to a new soul that resides on a higher plane. Frisk and Chara could feel themselves getting closer and closer to a grasp on it, but of course the children weren't that close at all, but with how generational potential increase works they would be pretty much destined to have higher potential. Within the minds of both Chara and Frisk it would seem a voice would speak to them, but it wasn't Gaster, it was the embodiment of their very souls in form. Within the scapes of her mind. They would then speak in resounding voices different for each of them "It's not time yet!" Their very souls denied their ascension?! What could this possibly mean? There was an anticipated and fated time for it to happen. How interesting. Now then they would all have stood up after a while due to their own failure and the kids not being able to get too close to this achievement. Now Frisk and Chara would have cracked their knuckles and grinned brightly towards the kids. Chara would then speak with a cheeky grin. "Alright kids you may want to learn about other things, but first you've got to show us what you got in a fight!" Frisk would then look confused "Is that really necessar-'' Chara would then cut off Frisk promptly "Yes it would be quite good experience." And so with that unarguable statement the two teams would've stood separated from each other and 3..2..1. Suddenly it seemed to be on with Chara and Frisk moving at an incredible speed and each of them slammed one of the children into the ground, now this may sound terrible, but they weren't doing it with all they could at all of course and the kids are quite strong. After the slam the kids would've both gotten bounced into the air as they would look down only to see them coming up at them. Shiro and Sora would have quickly gone to punch downwards against the other two, but this would unfortunately been easily countered as they were grabbed by the hands and then slammed downwards towards the ground again. Frisk and Chara would've elegantly made their descent to the ground as the children were stuck in the cracked void ground. Although the kids were resilient both Shiro and Sora making a stand once more with a cheeky grin on their faces. "Sora, let's do our special nove!" Sora would've nodded his head. Now what this special move was no one had any idea not even the children. Shiro and Sora gained some distance from Frisk and Chara. "Shiro what is our special move?" Shiro would only shush him. "We will feel it resonate in our souls." Now Shiro would've pulled one of her hands back as a bow and arrow would appear in her hands made of flames. And so she pulled back the arrow before letting it fly off at breakneck speeds "FoxFire Arrow!" Due to her heritage of the dreemurrs she was able to use monster magic as well, but her speciality would of course be those related to foxes and things of that sort. The arrow flied through the air looking like it was going for Frisk. Sora now looked worried as he was trying to think of how to help, but it suddenly came to him as he had learned a bit about his soul. What if he were to.. and then he shot a blast of black energy towards the arrow with his energy being significantly faster. It touched the arrow after catching up to it and then something strange would've happened. "Curse Blast" Sora had learned speaking the name of an ability would make it stronger and so he gave it a name on the spot. Knowing of his cursed soul and it's abilities, that's what he decided. Now back to what happened with the arrow, it suddenly duplicates itself and the other goes after Chara. It was like a surprise. The now cursed arrows seemed to be going even faster. Frisk having the arrow come closest to her would be first to react jumping up in the air, but it seemed the arrow only followed her. Frisk would have gotten out her notorious stick and smacked away the arrow, but unexpectedly it just bursts into flames and explodes on her though of course she just tanks it. Chara, seeing what happened, grasps onto the arrow coming at her, coating her hand in determination, stopping it from exploding. The determination slips onto the arrow stopping the curse that allowed for the tracking with the arrow being thrown back at the children with even more power than originally. Although Frisk would've seen the arrow and looked shocked suddenly appearing in front of the arrow blocking it infront of the kids now having drips of blood coming from her arms. A face of anger came onto Frisk for a moment and walked up to chara hitting them on the head with a stick although not actually that hard. "Chara that was way too dangerous! I know you have a harder time controlling it but that would've really hurt." Chara closed her eyes and folded her arms. She didn't want to really hurt them, but if the oncoming danger was so great she wanted them ready. "Yeah yeah I get it." Chara then took out a chocolate bar she had in her pocket, putting it in Frisk's mouth, healing her. And that's how the first fight ends, but of course they will keep on to use their time the best they can. Now we see the other group, which is Axis and Toriel vs Sans and Papyrus! "Brother! Let us impress the human king and monster queen with our grrreeeat teeamwork!" Sans chuckles and replies. "Yeah sure bro i'm sure this will be easy." There would be a chuckle from the bone brother now. Toriel would look sternly whilst Axis did as well spinning around her staff now before slamming it into the ground. The two ruler figures were taking this moment far more seriously. Toriel would've suddenly charged along with Axis beside her for a straight in attack at the moment now, but they would've quickly been stopped due to the use of the bones of papyrus who created a strong wall though the couple punched through, but to their dismay there was a second wall that was there for a moment before suddenly dropping down and the blasters of Sans that he summoned in the time that the wall was up all these blasters would've then shot towards the couple blasting them away. Although Toriel would've actually used her spinning staff to actually block the beams of energy coming towards the both of them, reducing the damage and knocking back. With a swift counter action Axis would have grabbed onto Toriel and then spun her around before then tossing her towards Sans with great speed as he was the ranger. Axis going at breakneck speeds was about to soak a fist coated in bravery in the shape of a glove although Sans smirked at Papyrus. When Sans was about to be hit it seemed everything slowed to a complete stop, Sans could have dodged the attack normally instead opting to stop time itself to be able to move out of the way of the attack with minimal effort and then going on to allow Axis to fly by with it resuming. Axis would be going on in vast space, but was suddenly apprehended by blue bones stabbing into him, if he were to move now it would cause an incredible amount of damage. Sans and Papyrus would now only have to handle Toriel looking towards her. The agile fox would've already been off zipping forwards at both of the skeletons. Though she would show her own strength in this situation ducking dodging and diving out of the way of bones and blasters. Although near the end when she receives a frontal attack from the both of them she would cast a reflecting flame spell. A wall of fire came up and caused the attacks to bounce backwards now covered in powerful fox flames. Papyrus would be able to narrowly block it skidding back and with Sans narrowly dodging getting a bit of his jacket and his side blasted away. This was only all a part of Toriel's plan as she was certainly no slouch in this aspect running past then in the confusion and tossing a fireball towards the blue bones that held Axis freeing him so the duo could try again. Now they both run towards the bone brothers with ambition, Toriel going on to create a smokescreen of flames causing them both to be unseen. When Sans and Papyrus tried to sense their presence and their souls even that was clouded impossible! That's when they'd revive melee attacks from behind completely unaware though when they realized it was too late. After the first attack came many others before the skeleton brothers went flying, with only Papyrus getting up from their staggering fall. Papyrus looked downwards towards his brother only to realize he was sleeping and sighed now looking towards Axis and Toriel.. it's game time! Papyrus would suddenly be covered in a bone armor that resembled a knight that. he had aspired to be for so long ago and what he'd finally achieved. "I'll show you.. what a royal guard can really do, Queen and King!" Papyrus had a smile on his face ready to take on the supposed superior humans and a Boss monster. Papyrus made a grand rush towards the both of them bouncing a basketball in his hands before then jumping up in the air then slam dunking the basketball in a hoop in which the ball goes downwards towards the King and Queen exploding onto them followed up by bones shooting at them from the explosion causing even more damage, the bone armor seemed to make him much stronger. Papyrus was quickly retaliated against with Toriel and Axis coming at him from both sides, but the witty papyrus would utilize his bones to block their attacks from both sides and summoned bone walls all around them to go on to crush them. They would be squeezed in, but the two rulers had suddenly burst free from the bones in a showing of strength. Although Papyrus had now messed up, they were right next to him which was where he stopped him and ready to put their all into an attack with each punching him on one side of the head crashing into Papyrus with a complete K.O! Now he was taking a nap with Sans a tad bit exhausted all of them were. Although they would need to persist like this for a while to be ready.. and now it was time for Asriel vs Undyne, an odd fight, to say the least. Undyne now looked at Asriel with a rather toothy grin as sharp as could be. "Hey! Squirt I hope you're ready to learn." Asriel would only gulp upon hearing Undyne who could as you imagine was quite intimidating, but then there was only a little smile on his face as Asriel could tell there was a bit of jest in her words she's not really that harsh anymore he would think to himself. Now Asriel would've already summoned his chaos sabers knowing Undyne wouldn't want to wait and he was right. Undyne had already summoned a spear in her hand and it was tossed at breakneck speeds towards Asriel who promptly blocked it via the use of his Chaos Sabers. With a swift motion Undyne followed after her initial spear, holding another trying to get Asriel while he didn't have his guard up, knocking his blades away. When Undyne would do so she would've then done an excellent thrust forwards poking into Asriel and turning his soul green! Now Asriel would've only begun to look in shock as spears had been summoned all around him and came towards him. He was stuck in place due to the magic of undyne now he was about to be hit with all these spears, but he would've blocked as many as he could now being hit by some before suddenly bursting outwards in energy. Asriel now swings around the blades of his that were on the ground with his mind and began to run at undyne while doing this Undyne would be backing up and fending them off. Due to the distraction of this Undyne wouldn't be able to really deal with the next attack which was the rainbow lighting from up above, but Undyne was quick on her feet and very skilled spinning around her spear now to block most of the slashes now. Stomping her foot on the ground at the same time reacting as the rainbow lighting came and stopped it with a gigantic spear coming from the ground now clashing with it "You've gotten a lot stronger squirt, but you're gonna have to be 1000 years older to beat me." After saying this spears would now keep his blades in place whilst Undyne herself went head on with a dash at Asriel before suddenly disappearing?? Though that's because she was elsewhere and that was behind him in the air throwing a rather powerful spear towards him Asriel was unsuspecting of this and turned around just in time to put up a rather weak guard. It seemed that's all Asriel would need as there was a sudden flare in his eyes as he formed a rainbow energy within his hands before releasing powerful strikes down upon Undyne.. and! Well looks like that's all you'll get to see, a battle between two of the strongest monsters of today doesn't end so quickly. They finished up the training routine doing it for 2 days straight in real world time before the exhausted crew finally came out to take a rest. Although Shiro Sora and Toriel would be the ones that were mostly worried, for another reason as they were all thinking. "How do I explain my absence from school!" Well they'd think about that in the morning now it was time for a nice and well deserved rest for them all as well as the coming do the fateful day.
