I squirmed in his grip, but it only seemed to fuel his anger as he effortlessly lifted me up onto my desk like I weighed nothing. The wooden surface creaked under my weight.

He leaned down over me, one hand braced on either side of my hips, pinning me to the desk. His face was a mere inch from mine now - brow furrowed, making it hard for me not to stare at every line etched into those handsome features.

"You're pissing me off," he whispered harshly into my ear. "Tell me what I want to know."

I couldn't help but whimper softly at the possessiveness in his tone and the way he held me captive under his intense gaze. My mind raced as I tried to think of how best to respond without admitting anything important about Derek or inciting further wrath from Aidan.

"He was just an old boyfriend from college," I breathed.

"That's not what I asked, Ivy. I asked if he was the one who took your first time." Aidan asked.
