章節 25: Chapter 25: A New Way of Portrayal
"Hmm... It does feel a bit strange. I'll just call you Tobirama for now, since you're currently playing him," said Wu Chen. As Wu Chen, he could understand the feeling described by his other self.
"That works," Tobirama nodded. "By the way, why don't you try playing as Uchiha Madara? I'd like to see which version of him you're portraying."
"No need to check. It's obviously the masked man – the one who caused chaos during the Nine-Tails incident, controlled the Akatsuki, and manipulated Yagura, the Fourth Mizukage," Wu Chen scoffed at Tobirama, then quickly composed himself.
"That's me! Making fun of myself... Do I have issues?" Wu Chen thought to himself.
"Don't worry about the details. Just transform and see!" Tobirama urged.
Clearly, he understood Wu Chen's awkwardness at the moment. Helping oneself out of a predicament felt truly strange.
Suppressing his emotions, Wu Chen silently invoked, "System, play as the masked man!"

After a moment, Wu Chen vanished, leaving behind a figure clad in black robes, standing at 1.75 meters tall. The figure wore a unique one-eyed mask with a golden base and black stripes as decoration.
Wu Chen felt a bit awkward using only his right eye to see, but he could still sense the presence of his left eye beneath the mask.
Lifting the mask, Wu Chen saw the familiar face of Madara. His left eye bore the Sharingan, clearly transplanted from another Uchiha.
"Why expose just one eye when both can see?" Wu Chen couldn't help but comment.
At that moment, Tobirama walked over, looking at Wu Chen in the guise of Madara. "Despite the scars, I think you look pretty cool."
"Right? I think so too," Wu Chen said, examining himself. "But cool looks aside, I can't let Madara's ideology influence me!"
"That's too extreme and unrealistic..."
"If I don't want his ideology to influence me, how do you plan to play as Madara?" Tobirama asked.
After a few seconds of contemplation, Wu Chen decided, "Well, I'll just borrow Madara's experiences and goals. It'll make playing him easier."
"Tch... Should I say 'delicious'?" Tobirama couldn't resist teasing. "You just said not to be influenced by Madara's ideology, and now you're saying it's 'delicious'."
"Cough... You're me. Is it appropriate for you to mock me like this?" Wu Chen glared at Tobirama, then continued, "Gather the nine tailed beasts, execute the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan, and create a world where Rin exists!"
"As long as we follow these guidelines, playing as Madara shouldn't be difficult," Wu Chen said. Suddenly, he paused, "Maybe the portrayal of characters in Naruto isn't just about missions. Reenacting their goals and aspirations could be another approach."
"What about Tobirama?" Tobirama asked, looking at Wu Chen. "What's his goal?"
Wu Chen shook his head. "Tobirama can't follow that approach for now. His goal is to protect Konoha, but now that Konoha is gone, he'll continue taking missions and earning rewards to progress in his portrayal."
"So, playing as Madara will test your theory, huh?" Tobirama remarked.
Wu Chen nodded. "Exactly! I'll follow Madara's principles from now on. If my portrayal progress increases during this process, it means the theory is correct."
"Alright, I'll go back to complete the mission with Natasha. You should get moving too!" Tobirama nodded and activated the Flying Thunder God Technique to leave Wu Chen's room.
Even though he had technically finished work early, Wu Chen had actually taken on another task. He had just told Natasha he had something to do, then abandoned that task.
Now that Tobirama was returning to complete the mission, it was a good opportunity to continue progressing in the portrayal.
Hmm... Doesn't this mean I can let my clone gain portrayal progress while I slack off? Wu Chen's eyes lit up, but then he remembered the effects of the Shadow Clone Technique.
Everything experienced by the clones would feedback to the original after dispersal – injuries, memories, experiences, fatigue – all would return.
Realizing that laziness was futile, Wu Chen decided to act alongside his clone.
Putting aside his lazy thoughts, Wu Chen focused on the system panel. He wanted to see how well he matched with Madara.

As expected, Madara's portrayal progress wasn't as high as Tobirama's initial progress. Wu Chen wasn't particularly aligned with Madara's ideology.
But what's with this "Shop" that's appeared?
