The sharp jawline, perfect nose, and full lips... Ren mused. It was as if time slowed, and before Ren could stop himself, his hand moved. His fingers brushed against Kade's skin. He traced the strong lines of his jaw. His actions were instinctual rather than intentional.

He barely had a moment to realize what he was doing before Kade caught his hand.

"Next week. I'll hold you to that." The Marshal said.

"Ah… yeah, next week," Ren readily agreed.

Kade hummed as he brought his hand up to his lips. The Marshal kissed his knuckles, lingering longer than necessary. 

"Ren, where is my reward for coming back early? The hospital kiss doesn't count. I didn't get a chance to respond."

Ren felt that he was sitting on a roller coaster. Barely had he calmed his perverted mind and now his boyfriend was actively asking for kisses.
