The meeting room where the criminals were being held was eerily similar to scenes Ren had seen in various TV shows. The atmosphere was tense, and the setup felt like something straight out of a crime drama.

A huge glass wall separated Ren from the individuals on the other side, a barrier for which he was immensely grateful. It provided a sense of security, though it did little to ease the anxiety gnawing at him.

Stationed in each corner of the room were stern-looking robot security guards to protect everyone present from any dispute.

Ren sat uneasily on the metal chair, his fingers tapping nervously on the table attached to the glass wall.

The cub, in an alert state, floated beside him, ready to pounce on anyone who dared to hurt its host.

The door slid open from the other side, and Sabrina entered the room.

Ren had to force himself not to gag at the sight that greeted him.
