章節 100: Broken Things

Ren felt a warm hand clumsily trying to pat his back. However, he could not find the familiar coldness that could put his emotions at ease.

His brain was too out of touch to even register his thought process, let alone understand that he, Ren, was thinking about Kade even at such an absurd time.

The system tried talking to Ren but got no response from him. It thought for a moment before clicking on the system mall. 

Without Ren's knowledge, a pill melted in his now empty stomach. It took a few more seconds for Ren to stop vomiting his lungs out.

Terim, though shaken, stood guard beside Ren, making sure that he was fine. His own stomach churned with the residual smell, but his primary focus was on his friend. 

He did not dare let his imagination run wild over the contents inside that box. The vague glimpse was enough for him to have nightmares again.
