Colton thought it was Griffin returning, so he stepped forward and opened the door without hesitation.

Instead of the familiar Griffin, there lay a medium-sized dark blue box outside the door, with a beautiful green bow tied at the lid.

The square box only reached up to Colton's knees. An electronic letter was attached to the lid of the box, addressed to Dorion Vitakis.

His eyes darkened as he carefully examined the package from afar. "Dorion, stay back, and do not come over," he said, his tone laced with urgency.

He eyed the box warily as a cold fog emanated from its seams. Without wasting any second, he contacted his team for backup, instructing them to proceed with caution.
