Yet all these things forced Terim to think about his behavior till now. His room's soundproofing was top notch. He definitely would not be able to live in such a noisy place. His habits of using the most expensive technology could be described as prodigal in other people's eyes. What if Rion ended up resenting him for his extravagant spending?

If Ren could hear his thoughts, he might have smacked Terim's head and questioned him, "Are you not afraid that I'm only using you for your money?"

However, Terim was never suspicious of Ren's intentions. He had always been a good judge of people's characters. That was also why he never assimilated into Lyfra's group.
