"Maybe another time" Helena had responded, Milo was still thinking about it as he slept all by himself in his own room, staring up at the ceiling with an empty gaze.

'She didn't laugh or say no though' he closed his eyes, trying to catch some sleep instead of going through scenarios in his head, he had tried his best to write properly, and apart from having a horrendous handwriting, he believed to have done fairly well.

As his mind cleared and his breathing slowed, he slowly and seamlessly began to transition into a nice, and cosy slumber.

The bed he was in was definitely much more comfortable than anything he had ever been in before.

The image of David's decayed face flashed in his mind.

Completely livid for a second until he paid attention to his surroundings, despite what it had appeared, it was already morning.
