After two weeks, life hasn't been really easy for The Hangman here in the First Stage of ApexRise Online, but it hasn't been quite difficult either.

The Hangman spent most time performing Class Duties to gain Impulse Points just to use his skills...

Tyler eliminated some Horned Beasts in the Northern Villages and also captured some criminals in the Eastern metropolis.

He also tried to empower his skill by applying more Impulse Points and also used Terror Zone to create chaos as planned.

Out of all his skills, Tyler seemed to admire Terror Zone the most... In a world as cruel as this, making good things happen at times isn't sensibly possible. Actually, why would he favor the wicked?

No way... The Hangman wouldn't do that.

Also, Tyler only managed to go home the day after capturing the Techspawns, but unfortunately, his conversation with his girlfriend ended with a bad quarrel that almost made Tyler freak out...

Since then, poor Hangman made his office bedroom his home...

And at this moment, Tyler was done...

But he knew really well that it must be a bad decision to make...

"Whatever!" The Hangman shouted in frustration, after thinking deeply.

He knew that she was the only reason he had been in this position, thus, he really didn't want to break down his opportunity.

At least, he was gonna keep faking his love for her.

The Hangman has been too busy to carry out investigations about the Source of the Techspawns these days, so after finishing the latest mission, The Hangman decided to skip the next mission to the next day and focus on finding the creator of the Techspawns.

He had decided to carry out research by himself and had made several findings in the Techspawns.

Tyler spent hours doing research after hiring high-ranking technologists to do some technical analysis, and as these moves progressed, it was visibly clear that nothing was making sense...

No matter how they tried to use the best of their analyzing techniques, it seemed as though it was just a bad one. Till now, the identity of the creator of the Techspawns was unknown.

"Why does it seem like you all aren't good at your jobs? I'm standing before the greatest technologist in New Claraville, right?" Tyler couldn't help but pour out his disappointed feelings.

The technologists only nodded and continued trying. At this moment, every single part of the Techspawns has been unleashed, and still, no clue about the inventor has been discovered.

The Hangman clenched his fist, slightly vexed... And frustrated.

"If I could get the identity of this bitch, I would be the happiest ass ever! I just need to know the damned creator, and I would finish the job myself," Tyler spoke.

Just then, James walked into the office with an almost old man who seemed to be in his late 50s. His hair was slightly grey, and his skin wrinkled a bit, unhealthily thin and pale.

Tyler stared faintly.

"Since the technologists have been unable to find the required subject, I brought a genius in technology, sir," James said.

Tyler switched his gaze to the man.

"He is Brian Cole, a graduate from the Third Order University of High-rated Technology in the East," James introduced further.

Tyler spent a tiny while exchanging stares with both individuals standing close to him before finally focusing on Brian Cole.

"Mr. Brian, are you sure you can help me out with this issue?" Tyler asked boldly yet politely.

"Yes... Yes, Officer. This has always been my job for decades. I can get this done in minutes, you just have to trust me," Brian said with determination.

The Hangman nodded positively and turned to the four technologists who had been working on the research for hours.

"Seems I got a new figure for this... You may now go," Officer Hangman ordered.

The technologists left the office in shame and Brian walked into the spot where the Techspawns were kept.

With him was a bag that contained a computer device — not just the normal computer device we usually see. This was a different structure of technology with a cool promising aura.

To cut it short, it was a high-level technology device that had a screen and only a few key tabs on the keyboard.

Approaching the unconscious robots, Brian put on his glasses... He brought out the device and a tool that looked like a scroller.

Tyler and James stood behind and watched.

Then, Brian put out one of the silver metal objects that adorned the finger of one of the Techspawns and placed it on the side of his computer device...

Soon, he opened a little space on the side of the screen of the device and inserted this silver metal object. Just as he did, the screen seemed to power up, and a visual picture could be seen, exactly like that of the display of the ApexRise Online's game system.

After finally discovering the source of the Techspawns, Tyler was more surprised than delighted.

"Can you please do further research on the inventor?" He quickly asked Brian.

"Sure," Brian replied and attempted to go deep into this research.

The device couldn't make more research due to the game's rule of not revealing certain things about Players to other Players.

Now...

"I knew it was a Player who had created these things! I knew it!" The Hangman shouted in both happiness and anger...

At least, he finally found the source and the inventor and was really going to make sure he capture this person, no matter how hard it might be...

Without wasting time, he went to the Players' group chat and called out the name "Venus". For days, Tyler tried dragging this person out but he/she wouldn't reply or make any reaction.

He would text and text and even post about this Player, but still, the so-called Venus wouldn't react nor say a word.

Tyler also checked the Player's rank in the Super Ranking, and unbelievably, this Player was at #22 in the ranking with over 630 Super Tickets, while Tyler was stuck in #980,033 with 94 Super Tickets.

After a long time of snubs, unexpectedly, Venus finally replied to The Hangman in a private chat.
