章節 16: Chapter 16 Nojiko: Nami, I want to fight with you
Bang bang bang!
A series of knocks on the door startled Nojiko from her sleep.
"Who is it?"
She rubbed her eyes, wearing pajamas as she got out of bed and walked towards the door.
"Nami, you're back?"
Opening the door, Nojiko saw Nami in front of her, immediately showing a surprised smile on her face.
"Yeah, I'm back, Nojiko."
Nami nodded, smiling in response.
"Come in quickly, Nami."
"This time at sea, nothing unexpected happened, right?"
Nojiko joyfully reached out and pulled Nami into the room.
"Wait, Nojiko, I didn't come back alone this time."
Nami patted Nojiko's hand, pointing to Rosen outside the room.
It was then that Nojiko noticed another person behind Nami.
"Huh? Nami, you actually brought a man back with you?"
"Could it be your boyfriend you found outside?"
Nojiko's eyes widened slightly as she curiously scanned Rosen.
"What are you talking about, Nojiko, he's not my boyfriend," Nami retorted, her cheeks blushing slightly as she looked at Rosen.
"You've never brought anyone back before."
"It's quite unusual this time, and you brought back a handsome guy; it's not wrong for me to think that way, right?"
Nojiko teased Nami with a smile.
"Hello, I'm Rosen."
"Nami's Captain and instructor."
Rosen stepped forward, smiling as he shook hands with Nojiko.
"He's quite polite," Nojiko nodded, shaking hands with Rosen.
"Please come in since Nami is willing to bring you back."
"I suppose she trusts you quite a bit."
Upon hearing Nojiko's words, Rosen smiled and walked into the room with Nami.
At this moment, the sky was just starting to brighten.
Nojiko turned on the light, and the three of them sat down at the dining table.
"Tell us, how did you two meet?"
Nojiko glanced at the long knife at Nami's waist, asking with deep meaning.
"Well, it's like this..."
Nami nodded slightly, slowly explaining what had happened after she met Rosen.
At first, Nojiko could keep calm, but when she heard that Rosen asked Nami to defeat the Arlong Pirates by herself, her face was completely covered with surprise.
And when she heard that Nami had actually defeated the captain of the Black Cat Pirates, with a bounty of 9 million berries, her expression became quite strange.

Nami defeating pirates with bounties worth several million berries in just a few days was something Nojiko couldn't accept for a while.
Nami's lips curled slightly as she drew her long knife from her waist.
With rhythmic breathing, Nojiko saw golden arcs gradually shimmering on the blade.
Seeing this scene, Nojiko's eyes immediately lit up as she looked at Rosen:
"Rosen, according to your training method, how long will it take for Nami to defeat the Arlong Pirates?"
"Well, based on Nami's current progress in training, plus the nutritional potions I've adjusted, it shouldn't take long for her to defeat the Arlong Pirates."
Rosen rubbed his chin and said.
Currently, he didn't know how effective the D-grade nutritional potions could be.
Therefore, he didn't dare to give an accurate answer.
"I see..." After pondering for a while, Nojiko suddenly stood up and bowed to Rosen.
"What are you doing, Miss Nojiko?"
"Mr. Rosen, I want to thank you for helping Nami and helping Cocoyashi Village."
Nojiko raised her head, her eyes looking very serious.
Although Rosen didn't intend to take action himself, willing to let Nami become stronger and solve the problem of the Arlong Pirates with her own strength, was enough to make Nojiko express her gratitude to Rosen.
"Nami and I are already partners, and seeing partners become stronger is what I, as a captain, hope to see."
Rosen said.
"Alright, sit down, Nojiko," Nami stood up, holding Nojiko's hand. "Nojiko, this man isn't as good as you think."
"She's quite good at exploiting the crew as a captain."
"Most of the time, he's exercising and practicing in the gym."
"Sailing such a big ship almost entirely relies on me, a weak girl."
"That's a ship that requires several people to operate fully, you don't know how tired I've been during these days of sailing."
After speaking, Nami glanced at Rosen with some resentment.
Rosen, however, turned his head as if he hadn't seen anything.
In fact, that was indeed the case. With Nami joining, he had indeed spent most of his time on training.
"Nami, I'll go to the Explorer first."
"After you come back, I'll guide you in further training."
Rosen stood up, greeted Nami and Nojiko, and left their house.
As an outsider, meeting Nojiko once was enough for him.
Next, it's better to leave the space to Nami and Nojiko, the two sisters.
After Rosen left, Nami complained to Nojiko even more about how Rosen made her responsible for sailing, cooking, and various other tasks.
Nojiko listened while smiling and nodding.
"It seems like you're really responsible for a lot of things on Captain Rosen's ship, Nami."
"You know, if I also go to Captain Rosen's ship to help you share some of the work, do you think he'll agree?"
Both Nojiko and Nami hoped to defeat the Arlong Pirates and save Cocoyashi Village as soon as possible.
