Early morning for the fishing job. Grandma always woke up early to cook, but he was surprised to see Naia helping out.
She was cleaning up the vegetables again and was also batting the egg. He watched as she yawned and rubbed her eyes with the clean base of her palm.
He felt a bit of heartbreak. Such a soft woman shouldn't be working so much, he thought.
"Up so early?" He asked, very gently, and Naia blinked, turning to his grandmother.
Obviously, grandma woke her up. Sensing his stare, grandma looked at him straight in the eye.
"Yes, I'm training her to be a good wife."

"Are you okay?" Naia asked, immediately getting a glass of water for him.
Grandma nodded in approval. It was as if she had a clipboard on hand, she'd be marking checks.
It made him cough even more. Immediately, Naia gently patted his back with her delicate hand.
