Spheris sprinted forward, shadows curling around his feet, Talon flying beside him, as he propelled himself deeper into the wasteland.

As the breeze slapped his face, the smell of burnt wood and ash choked the air, green flames licked at the remnants of what seemed to have once been buildings. Now, they were piles of charred rubble.

The sun above him was a glowy green orb, and the ground was cracked and blackened, fissures spilling emerald flames from deep below.
