章節 110: Strength In Submission

Jules pov

         As Xander stepped into his room and slammed the door close, I let out a sharp breath which I didn't realize I had been holding, inhaling sharply and trying to get my lungs to expand and rake more air in.

Kim had a grim expression on when I met his gaze. He stared me up and down and I felt my ears start to grow hot as I awkwardly cleared my throat, which sounded scratchy from how much Xander choked me. I reached for my throat almost immediately, running my fingers over the sides which were the parts that was hurting the most.

"It's definitely gonna bruise." Kim blurted out I slowly nodded in response while swallowing emptily. I kind of already expected that from how much it had hurt while he had been strangling me.

I cleared my throat once again and dropped my hand, and then I spoke.

"Uh… thank you for helping me get out of that situation." I breathed out.
