章節 7: chapter 7

(a/n: bold mean yelling)

Something was wrong... Percy knew that much. Two of his teachers were replaced in between two days.

Once was a coincidence, but twice? Well, Eileen taught him to be cautious and to trust his instincts.

Okay, so the math teacher was a monster... Or beast if you will. The Latin teacher was a horse...

Percy tapped his ring against his desk as he began thinking. So they were here for him, but they weren't here for the other people.

That much was obvious due to how often they made eye contact with Percy. But the Latin teacher showed no hostility, the other did though.

Sigh, why couldn't Percy's life just... Be peaceful?

Percy lay in his bed to take a nap. Percy closed his eyes and slept for the first time in a week.

...

"Tell me, Perseus. What is your... World... Place. Yes, place. What is it like?" Eileen had asked Percy.

They were sitting on top of a building, and down below the men who were acting like beasts were trying to throw Molotovs at them.

"Hmmm, it's big I suppose. There are beasts too, but unlike these ones, they aren't infectious. The buildings in my world are more advanced," Percy said.

Percy was dangling his legs from the rooftops as he gazed below.

"4 points," Eileen said. She had thrown a throwing knife at a nearby beast killing it instantly.

Percy took one of the throwing knives and threw it. It bounced off the lamppost and would have hit Eileen if it were not for her experience.

"... You're going to have to train with your long range. At least firearms aren't affected by whatever you have. Curse, blessing, whatever it is," Eileen had said.

Eileen was in disbelief, never had she seen someone so... Talentless in certain areas.

Percy's smile returned to his face as he looked at Eileen.

"What if we were to make a quarantine zone? Like a place without a beast. A place regular people can feel safe," Percy said.

"This is yharnam, nowhere is safe. No matter where you go, you will always find beasts and hunters," Eileen said.

Percy had stayed quiet. His mind was in turmoil, having no idea whether he should say it could be possible, or give up... But finally decided.

"...I'm going to be the one to end the hunt... No more beasts, no more hunters," Percy said as he stared at the moon.

Description: transcend the hunt

Reward:????

Failure: there is no room for failure.]

"Mmm, if that's the case. You're going to need training," Eileen said before driving a knife into his throat.

...

"What was that for," Percy said as he found Eileen again. Percy was covered in beast blood since he made his way again.

"Training. You DONT die. You can be killed in horrible ways, wake up again, and fight. Just the other day you were squashed and I'm pretty sure your femur was next to your heart," Eileen had said.

Percy was about to say something when his hand reacted, almost on instinct.

"See? Your learning. Always be observant. Constant vigilance. Otherwise, you die," Eileen said before pulling away.

"Is that why you kept stabbing me with poison knives? So I can get immune to the pain, and immune to poison?" Percy asked Eileen.

"Obviously. Your type of power hasn't existed before in this place... Or probably any other place. You're unique," Eileen said before she continued.

"You, out of all the hunters before you have the highest chance of ending this nightmare," Eileen finished.

Percy fiddled with his eyes before turning Eileen.

"I... Met a hunter in my world. I was fighting this pack of beasts, they interfered with my hunt, but I felt it. She was a hunter. She didn't have our clothes or skill, but she was strong," Percy said.

Eileen sighed. She understood exactly what happened.

"Percy... Your growing. There comes a time in a man's life, or a woman's when they meet their special someone. They will think the world of each other. What you have here, is a crush. You feel attracted to a woman who you assume is a hunter," Eileen said as she patted Percy's head.

"But I-"

"Remember this Perseus. With great power, comes great big booty bitches," she finished.

...

Thunder crackled across the night sky, a meeting was called the next day after the solstice.

"Return my bolt at once Poseidon," with every word spoken the thunder got a bit louder.

"I don't have it. What use would I need the master bolt brother? It serves me no purpose," Poseidon sighed.

Artemis was leaning on her wrist as she looked at the rest of the council. If someone were able to steal the master bolt from Zeus, the first suspected would be Hermes or Poseidon.

But Artemis had a feeling it was neither. Thievery wasn't Poseidon style, and while Hermes was the god of thieves, not even he would do this.

Artemis rubbed her temples, she was sure if she was a mortal this would have given her a headache.

"So, who's got your attention, dear Artemis," next to her the love goddesses leaned over her throne to speak to her.

"Do not speak to me. Your mere presence is sickening," Artemis replied.

Aphrodite leaned forward and then had a wide smile.

"I smell a man on you," she said. A grin that stretched to her eyes.

"Cease your imagination love goddess. Whatever fantasies you imagine did not happen," Artemis growled.

"Your denial just makes me even more curious. Who could be the man that YOU of all people would give their main weapon," Aphrodite said.

"enough," Zeus' voice echoed throughout the hall.

"My master bolt was taken.. stolen, from this very room. I want it found and returned once Poseidon. Or there will be war," Zeus said.

Her father had to leave in such a dramatic way too. And soon after the other gods did too.

*Sigh* "Life is getting too troublesome," Artemis said as she sunk into her throne.

She spun her knife in her hand. The knife was part of a pair, and the other was currently in the hands of the son of Poseidon.

Speaking of Poseidon, he looked exhausted after the continuous arguments with Zeus.

Hestia was still tending the hearth, but for a moment, she turned to Artemis and winked. Like she knew a secret about her that no one else did.

"So who is h-" Aphrodite didn't even get to finish her sentence as Artemis already flashed away.

In hindsight, maybe she should have told the council about ... That hunter. But Artemis knew that he could be a turning point for this.

Yeah... Not because he was different than other hunters... Totally not because she was being just a tiny bit biased... And not because of his cheerful grin...

Not because he smelled like her domain, the moon... Which honestly was suspicious.

... Totally not .

(End of chapter)

I'm thinking of doing another Bloodborne fic. A MHA (my hero academia) x Bloodborne.

It'll go something like this. Bakugos explosion hit Deku's head a bit too hard, which killed him.

But the good hunter was placed into his body, and it'll be more of a vigilante-type fic though.

Of course, the good Hunter will keep his drip.
