"What happened to your face?" Kenzo asked in shock, looking at the faint swelling on her face and the cut on her lips. "Did you get into a fight?"

"Please, Ken." Fil rolled her eyes as she sat down on the chair. "I'm tired of hearing that today."

"People are worried," he stressed, flinging his legs out of the bed to sit on the edge, facing her. "I've only been here for a while, and you've become a delinquent?"

Fil frowned. "Now that's new. No one told me I got into a fight on purpose."

"Did you?"

"No, Kenzo." She sighed, looking at him dead in the eye. "I got slapped for being naughty."

He furrowed his brows, cocking his head to the side. 

"Valerie," she said, watching his mouth part as he rocked his head. "She confronted me because I dumped her brother."

"You did, what? You broke with Vincent?"

"Don't act surprised, Ken. I told you." Fil shrugged nonchalantly. "Vincent was cheating on me with Marianne."
