Sanvra stayed behind, her gaze thoughtful as she looked over the map. "[This is only the first attempt,]" she murmured, more to herself than to Lassim. "[But what a powerful beginning it is.]"

Lassim, despite his exhaustion, felt a wave of happiness wash over him. He had come to this strange, dark world in the midst of danger, then became captured while feeling like an outsider, but now he was going to be able to hopefully win over their trust through his efforts to get back home.
