As the difference between the capacity of his temporary poison index to the points he needed to be poisoned increased, Aeon started checking out the updates in the Grimoire of Life and Death.

Hence, when he heard that he would be rewarded for killing 100 Lunar Serpents, Aeon was pleasantly surprised and became excited about it.

However, just because Aeon was able to check the updates in the Grimoire of Life and Death, he still didn't have much time to relax as there were many Lunar Serpents who kept rushing toward him while Aeon kept killing them.

Aeon slashed another three Lunar Serpents as asked the Grimoire of Life and Death about his gift.

Looking at the information about his gift, Aeon could not help but be pleasantly surprised.

Enchantment is a process in which something is strengthened to become powerful. It can be either done on the equipment or on a particular effect or a particular skill of equipment.

If the equipment was enchanted, all the effects and skills under it would be modified to become more powerful and it is called Major Enchantment.

As for the enchantment on an effect or a skill of equipment would only strengthen that particular effect or skill and it is called Minor Enchantment.

Even though what Aeon received was a Minor Enchantment.

Nevertheless, Aeon was more than happy to get a Minor Enchantment as a reward.

'In my current situation, any type of enchantment is useful.'

With that thought in mind, Aeon didn't think much regarding which effect or skill he should enchant.

'It will definitely be Blue-Ranked Equipment.'

Aeon has a good number of Grey-Ranked Equipment and they only have a single effect without any skills and enchanting them would be quite wasteful.

Instead, if he enchants a skill belonging to the Blue-Ranked Equipment, it would be quite useful for both in the short run and long run.

Currently, Aeon has two Blue-Ranked Equipment, the [Pendant of Protection] and the [Goblinbone Totem]

'I already have so many defensive trump cards. So, there is no need for me to enchant its special effect, [Protection].'

'Instead of more protection, I want more attack power but at the same time, it should be useful in the long run also.'

While slashing the Lunar Serpents lunging at him, Aeon was silently making some calculations in mind as he continued, 'Due to the restriction of the Blue-Ranked Equipment, I can only use one-tenth power of the [Goblin Summoning]. What if I enchant it further?'

Since Enchanting something means strengthening it, the skill attached to the Goblinbone Totem will be strengthened. If Aeon could use one-tenth power of it, it would be even more than enough for him.

Also, Enchanting something is not easy and to do that, a cultivator has to ascend to at least a couple of floors to get access to the Enchanting Equipment or its effects or its skills.

Hence, Aeon was planning to enchant the Goblinbone Totem because he was planning to use it in the Celestial World Tree also after completing the trial in the Trial Realm of Life and Death.

'Grimoire, I want to Enchant the [Goblin Summoning] under the Goblinbone Totem. Can you do it?'

Aeon shifted some of his focus onto the Grimoire of Life and Death after saying that in his mind.

Soon, there were multiple rows of lines in the [Communication Page] that explained the enchantment and how the [Goblin Summoning] was enchanted.

'What? The enchantment increased the skill's effect three times?'

Aeon was expecting he could only summon one more Goblin Soldier]; however, he didn't expect the [Goblin Summoning] to increase by threefold which helped him in summoning two Goblin Soldiers instead of one.

'Swoosh'

Soon, two more green-coloured portals appeared in front of Aeon and two Goblin Soldiers appeared.

"Attack."

Aeon didn't waste any time as he ordered them to attack.

Aeon was in the front and behind him, the three Goblin Soldiers quietly followed and killed the Lunar Serpents that Aeon intentionally left.

With the addition of two more Goblin Soldiers, things became much easier for Aeon as he killed the Lunar Serpents at an incredible speed.

'How many Lunar Serpents did I kill?'

After 10 minutes, Aeon lost count of how many Lunat Serpent he killed and asked the Grimoire of Life and Death about it.

After reaching, even though the kill count for the Lunar Serpents increased, the overall kill count of the trial was not updated and Aeon was not surprised about it.

'So, I killed 350? But, from the looks of it, there is no decrease in their numbers.'

Seeing such a huge number, Aeon didn't look happy; instead, he frowned.

Even though Aeon was able to kill them easily and could go on for another 10 minutes, there was no end to the Lunar Serpents that were coming at him.

Moreover, the temporary boost in the Poison Index will disappear at any time soon.

Hence, Aeon thought he should either escape or change his attacking style.

'With my current attacking style, I am spending more energy in killing each Lunar Serpent and if my guess is correct, these Lunar Serpents are trying to deplete me of my stamina.'

With that thought in mind, Aeon decided to change his strategy.

'Escaping is not a choice for me in my current situation.'
