章節 322: She Left

After Jace left the living room, he went straight to Grace's door. As he got close to the door, he suddenly realized that, apart from that night when he'd stumbled on Grace just out of the shower before they started dating, he hadn't been to that part of the mansion again. They always met at every other part of the house but strangely, not in Grace's room.

He stood at the door for some minutes, not sure of what he was about to do and what Grace's reaction would be.

Finally making up his mind, he lifted his hand and knocked lightly on the door. No answer, neither was there any activity indicating someone was coming over to open the door. 

Maybe it was too low for Grace to hear, so he increased his pressure a little bit more, but still there was no answer.
