"Very good," Mr Fitz replied with a satisfied nod before shifting his attention to the rest of the staff. "The rest of you, please be aware that the mansion must be in impeccable condition."

"Everything must look perfect for our guests' arrival," he continued. "And if any of you are uncertain about your roles, come see me for clarification."

Grace, who had been standing quietly near the back, tried to keep her expression neutral as she listened. She couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity. 

Jace didn't discuss anything about this with her last night and not even this morning. Why was he suddenly organizing a get together when he should be preparing for his business trip. 

And after that mysterious look he gave her before leaving earlier that morning, she couldn't shake the suspicion that there was more to this event than just a simple social gathering.
